Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

REVIEWS

“Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut artfully blends the action-oriented appeal of first-person shooters with the tension of a solid stealth title and the exploratory wonder of role-playing games.”
9/10 – EGMNOW

“the Director's Cut of Human Revolution is the definitive version of an excellent game. Human Revolution would bear replaying even without the enhancements — it's a rare title that combines superb world building and storytelling with such dedication to player choice. I lost myself in the world of Human Revolution, and relished every opportunity to dive deeper into its mysteries.”
9/10 – Polygon

“With a story that lasts hours on end, additional DLC that will keep you challenged throughout (wait till you get to Missing Link), unbeatable touch-screen implementation and a majority of the same great stuff from the original release, the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution definitely deserves a look. This is how the game was meant to be played, especially on the Wii U, even with its wide control set-up. It's easily an advantage that the system needs this holiday season.”
9/10 – GamerHub TV

If you're considering this, the original DE is a classic, but very old. DX Invisible War was poor, DX The Fall was a mobile game and the last 2 are generally very good.

Loved the original DE. Found a mod on Steam called Deus Ex Revision which may help, only had chance to try it for a little bit when I got my Steam Deck but I hope to have a blast with this after Jedi Survivor:

There is still a DX Multiplayer community on Discord for the original DX! Handful of modders and old clans/members are still partaking in marathons. Great nostalgia.

Isn't human revolution/mankind divided still left unfinished? This game has been on all manner of sales and I think square enix would have made enough money out of it to complete it. Such a shame.

Yeah, pretty sure the dev team was forced on to make Shadow of the Tomb Raider and then the holy grail of live-service games, Marvel’s Avengers, leaving Deus Ex with no ending. Really frustrating considering HR and MD are cracking games.

Hopefully we have a Deus Ex game being made now as we speak now that silly Square Enix has sold it off.

From what I read the guys in charge are interested in doing potential remake, remasters and branching the franchise out into other media (TV series, animation etc.).

I personally have wanted Invisible War to get a QOL upgrade preferably in the form of a remake of sorts with a bunch of additional content as that game needs it BAD!

Similarly with the first game as its just tough for me to play nowadays with those facial animations. I get that its still a classic in a lot of people's eyes but needs a new coat of paint I feel.

Of course I would like to see the prequel story continue from Mankind Divided also
