*See below, a few reporting back that these are actually £1*

Spotted these at the Toy section in Trongate, Glasgow today - don't know if anyone gets excited about these things!

An in-depth article about these here

The Mini Boos appear to be made of some type of hard rubber. The packaging does not have information on the materials used. Each different Mini Boo can have one of three different surface textures - plastic, velvet or a combination of both. They all have plastic glitter eyes.

I didn't buy one, maybe they're £1. I've asked my sister if my niece would collect these. She's nearly 10 so may be too baby-ish for her.
They are £1 in my local poundland

Well, seeing as that's two verified sources, I'll change the price.

It's nice when a misprice actually works in your favour! Thanks, both of you

If I went to Poundland at Trongate and there wasn't actually a gate there the looked like this then I'd be severely disappointed.

Not as sexy or futuristic as that, sadly.

Tron or trone is an old Scots word for scales, and the gate comes from gait, which is old Scots for 'the way to' - so Trongate simply means 'the way to the scales'.

If anybody likes a bit of historical background
Great price hope they have them in my local store! Thank you

I don't like them either, but my eldest niece used to collect those horrible squishy, gunk-covered alien egg things which made me shiver just looking at them.
