Reading the reviews, it's apparently noisy and gets hot after 10 minutes.

    Anyone actually got this?

Yes, the reviews are correct they work okay but are loud and indeed do get quite hot quickly.
I bought them to replace and old set I had for at least ten years and the quality of these is nothing like the old set. (edited)

For £5.69 more you can get this cordless, OK the guides are not colour coded but they are numbered;  I’ve been using these since COVID with no issues and they don’t get hot either when used cordless.

I bought some dog clippers to get me through Covid and they are actually ok but dont cut so well at precision but every time I see clippers everyone states they are rubbish which ones are the ones to actually get my daughter does it now after I take the bulk off just need to find the elusive clippers people quite like

What would I have done without this set during lockdown! Heat. Was £13 in early 2020 so great still being the same price.

I had these. Used them once and sent them back.
Pulled out more hairs than they cut. Blunt, cheap and not worth while in my opinion

Had my Wahl corded clippers for 20 years, never skipped a beat. Hair, beard, not a problem. Just have to oil them occasionally and keep them clean

Looking at the reviews with picture's 53% are poor and 65% describe faults or faulty accessories which is a shame as a good price, I have had a Wahl for about 25 years and touch wood is still going strong and even has the side lever to extend or shorten the cut but this one as a "pro version" doesn't even have that.

But 85% of reviews are 4 or 5 star.
Those with problems are more.likely to.upload pictures of the issue?

Bought this myself. Ended up in the bin after 6 months, not at all good, stick to Remington

Gor this one, and the cordless on of the same make. I always apply oil and they have both done me since the start of covid with no issue. For less than the price of a haircut they have been great value.

Can anyone recommend clippers for fine hair?
I have the yellow Wahl ones the student hairdressers use. They cut my beard with no problem but struggle with my fine/thin head hair.

I use these but mostly on back and sides and they're great.

I usually just use some hairdresser scissors to (unevenly) cut the hair on top. Bit of hairspray and you'd never know what a bad mess I make with the scissors.

Still beats going to the hairdressers. I haven't been since begging of covid.

I also have fine/thin hair. (edited)

I added a Keepa chart in the OP. Camelcamelcamel was offline for ages during COVID times so I tend to find it's not as accurate.

I got some of these about 3 years ago and i've just got some more after i dropped them and broke a few teeth off the blade,i use them on No 2 to go all over my head, maybe they are a bit noisy but compared to a barbers clippers i'd expect that, the old ones did get a bit hot but still cut fine.i'll get more in a few years.
