Just have to be careful and not nip the bag (shock)

I just assumed it was the machine that smelled a bit off!!!!

I knew I was not keeping the right order...

Remembering which hair is removed first is important. Nose first, ears and then real bottom hole...

Maybe I need to get something like this rather than using a razor, I seem to leave it a while between shaves and the razor at times doesn't seen suitable.

I agree with nonprofit both they are advertised as 18 hours charge and none of them are waterproof. The only one that i know is 1 hour charge with 1 hour use and showerproof is 7000 series. Maybe im wrong.

They are both advertised as 16 hour charges on amazon and Philips official site - not sure where you're getting your numbers from. The 5000 does give you 10mins more usage per charge though (80 v 70). My trimmer just packed in so this was the best deal I could find for what I needed right now.

I think I would get the 5000 as well. Will keep an eye out for that. Thanks

Also one hour charging for series 5000, instead of 10 hour charging for series 3000. If you wait 1-2 weeks , same deal will be back again, as always on Amazon . I should have posted here , but was very busy yesterday and saw it late.

isn't better deal is that one - £ 14.50 cordless version better model ?? :/ (strong) :p (y)

What's model is ceramic version?

I’ve got the ceramic version that doesn’t need oiling and doesn’t snag. I paid about £14 for it on Amazon.

Any guides to cutting one's own hair? What's the set up? Thanks

Thanks for the advice and tips. I’ve ordered these to use on my 9 year old son, hope they don’t ‘pull’ as some of you have suggested- he won’t be happy! Cheers

Bought these and cut my own hair for the first time ever, not just a buzz cut either! Did a brilliant job! Paid for themselves after 2 cuts. Really good quality, easy to use, lots of videos on YouTube on how to use these to cut your hair. HEAT.

I had to send these back and get refund they were the worst clippers I ever bought. I bought a Wahl set from Tesco for £11 and they were better they aren’t as fancy looking but they don’t pull your kids hair out. Or vibrate more than any other clippers. If you have arthritis or anything in your wrists these are not for you. I’m sorry to put a downer on you deal but I always have relied on the honesty of everyone on the site xxxx Edit I did pay £18 for my pair of amazon so this is a great price xxx

These pull my hair. ;(

Why would shave a pussy?

I doubt it their hair is quite thick lol

Get the magic clip from Wahl. Or seniors or the balding.

Look at YouTube barbers who do reviews on clippers. Clippers are very cheap for decent ones. I have 2 clippers, a trimmer/outliner and a shaver. All professional gear and cost me less than £250 for the lot. I've had one set of clippers for 10 years already. So it works out at pennies per year. Buy cheap crap and it doesn't work as well or as fast and it breaks after a while. Pro clippers are made to be used in a shop for several years being on for several hours a day. All I do is sharpen the blades using a stone every 2 years. Or you can buy new blades off eBay for a tenner. I don't understand why anyone would buy inferior products when people normally spend like £15-£35 for a haircut depending on where they go.

I had one of these and had to return it, very cheaply made, its gets red hot when using it and vibrates loudly, cheaply made Chinese manufactured, cheap plastic mine felt like it were separating whilst using it, spend a bit more and get an American made one because the quality is better and will last longer.

Would these be any good for cutting a little boys hair? He normally has a number 2 back and sides, and a 7 on top. He sits very still for hair cuts, so exploring the idea of cutting his hair myself at home. If not, please could I have some recommendations for a good set of clippers. Thank you in advance!!

Anybody already owning the cordless MODEL HC-365 but need new combs/attachments,these will fit,and as the combs/attachments alone for the cordless are more than this full package its the cheapest way to get some.Bonus as well is these combs are better made than my original ones that came with the cordless and you have a spare clipper to win.

I bought it at this price a few months back and it's great. Honestly, for the price, it's a bargain! Do it (nerd)

No issues with mine or a friend mines one.

Looks good. I usually have the back and sides of my hair cut on No2 guard then trimmed on the top, would this be ok for that sort of cut or is it only for shaving your head? I notice it's out of stock now though. :(

Mine arrived today. Wasn't sure about just how easy it would be but this is so much simpler than a regular hair trimmer. Only took a few minutes & I'm happy with the result. Wish I'd tried one earlier. Thanks again robo :)

Philips 3000 Series Mens Cordless Hair Clipper

Bought one of these yesterday, from Amazon 19.99

I have the 5000 series one and it is a fantiastic hair clipper. works better than any other clipper I have used and better than the cordless ones used at barbers shops I have used. I'd stick with the 5000 and 7000 series. They can often be found cheaper or around this price ie the 5000 was £15 in January and the 7000 £25 in April The 5000 is £35 currently at Hughes- and John Lewis and £40 for the 7000 at Argos

Anyone own one?

Still 5 p cheaper (nerd)

I said it had low power, I would only know that from my own first hand experience. Perhaps you shouldn't be so dismissive, rude and blasphemous before enquiring further? Or stay ignorant.

If you had said you own the product to start with then perhaps I and others would not be so dismissive of your remarks, as your experience differs from mine. Without that information your comments do come across as ill-informed and unsubstantiated to others who own the product.

I own this device. But thanks for the feedback, Phillips Press team.

You’ve lost the battle when you start talking in that tone

The instructions show it for use on both beards and hair, which confirms what others have also said.
