So "Extended height 2.99m." from Argos
seems to equate to "Safe Working Height 2.99m (9ft 10in) " on Amazon.
(eBay says " Working Height: 1.89m").
Argos has this starred entry:

At first I thought the description on Argos of "Extended height 2.99m" meant it was an extending ladder from 1.24 to 2.99 meters.
Then the other sites show this is not the case.
So the answer I can give to the question about "Can we adjust the height of it?" is
NO.
Other than the slight height difference that will occur when you open up the ladder into the tripod arrangement instead of the 2.03 meter length it has closed as in the fuller set of images on Amazon.
If I make my usual sarky comment like "thanks Argos for their not very helpful image or description information as usual" I risk being told off, so I do not make any such comment.
