I've had it a couple of years and the battery appears to be holding up well.

Be warned - this will not tackle grass over a few cm high. The thing just isn't powerful enough and cuts out.

I keep a corded mower on standby for when the grass is too long.

This still comes in handy for me when I don't want to mess around with extension leads.

It is also very lightweight, which will favour some.

The £149 deal with a grass trimmer on Wilko only comes with 1 battery I think?

I know it's anecdotal but I'm really not instilled with confidence in regards to electric mowers. 3 people I know have already been through one. All due to batteries dying and unable to find replacements.

I used one with the same cut size as my little honda izy and it felt very underpowered in comparison.

I can't imagine how the poor thing would handle my lawn after no mow may.

When are these new consumer laws coming in to ensure replacement parts and consumables are provided for a minimum period of time for product?

Anyone tried this and the Einhell? wondering which brand to go for..
