Would this actually provide the 80w to MacBook pro? Sorry I don't understand how all these new power acronyms work now
Would also be great for a steam deck at this price. (edited)

No it won't. It's 80w only to oppo/OnePlus/realme devices that support 80w charging. The supervooc standard is proprietary to oppo group companies

Everything else it outputs 10w (edited)

Just taken delivery of the Oppo A57s in another deal (thanks MrSwitch) but need the Supervooc charger. Not up to speed on this tech, am I able to use this 80w charger or will it affect the phone adversely because it is 'too powerful'. Sorry if it's a newbie question, but struggling to find the 33w charger, it's a minefield!!

I believe it will only charge as fast as it's phone capabilities and cause no damage. You just won't get the full benefit of the charger.

I'm using this with a OnePlus 8t and that can only handle 65w.

    Hot Price!
I got the 160W SUPERVOOC from the Oneplus 10T.

I can buy Oppo as the next phone now, lol

I've had an OPPO Find X2 Pro for 3 years now. Not the worst phone I've bought, in fact the hardware is the best I've had. I don't know if it's the same on other Android 13.x OS's but there is zero, nadda, nope none, noway to change the cellular network. My phone will pickup the faintest 5G signal and lock on to it, the speed is then zero with a massive latency. So OK I thought I'll force it to LTE (4G) nope can't do it. I had to download an app called Force 4G to set force 4G. OPPO has all kinds of this stupid Android limitation crap. I think I'm going to have to do an ADB dump and see if I can force LTE that way but since you can't root the phone I really doubt it is possible to keep it forced to 4G.

OPPO great hardware, far better charging speeds than Sony, Samsung and Google, hateful Android OS which has options removed. Eye Comfort mode is another example where it doesn't have an automatic schedule based on sunrise/sunset. The devs at OPPO must have a gun to their head or been sniffing too much Lead.

Would this work for a OnePlus 8T? As OPPO/OP use the same tech?

I'm pretty certain it does, maybe the 65W

Do you need the cable for it to super charge??
    innocent's avatar
Best to buy it with the cable add on which is on the same deal page.

I assume this is compatible with Realme 7 Pro (65w)?

Can I just use the cable that came with that phone with this?

Or can I just buy one of those UK travel adaptors and use the supplied EU charger?
    Crossbow's avatar
Yes & yes, according to this article androidauthority.com/sup…00/
    Also mentioned above hotukdeals.com/com…774

Any charger will be fine, but you will not get the full charging speed unless the charger+cable are both up to minimum spec to match the phone's inbuilt charging tech. (edited)

Power charging standards are crazy, I remember the Qualcomm quick charge was first out the door but it feels like every manufacturer has their own take on it now.
Can't we all stick with usb power delivery standard. Having all this different standards is worse than the different types of usb/iPhone connectors

I'd expect to pay something like £30/40 for this, so HOT in my book. (edited)

Good find OP. It's also good price if you buy it with the cable which is on the same Amazon deal page ♨️

anyone know where you can get a 80w cable for the find x5 pro thats longer than 1m?
  16. LaurenceGough's avatar
Does anyone here knows if this supports the battery healing technology like the 150-160w supervooc charger does? I honestly don't even know if it's part of the phone (OnePlus 10t) or the charger. Some clever tech that's covered in mystery. (edited)

Are there any supervooc for car chargers that plug into cigarette lighter?
    Jonwillis's avatar
You could get an inverter. Convert the 12v to 240v, then use any normal charger
