My mother is looking for a Shark stick hoover. Is she best waiting for Amazon Prime Day deals? Or does anyone know if they are cheap at the moment? Thank you! x

Look for the camelcamelcamel browser add in which shows the price history of an item

Use the search box at the top of the site, you'll be able to find Shark deals ;) If there's nothing around, wait until Prime Day and see if a deal comes up. If there's nothing on Prime Day, you're no worse off

Hi. I need some help please. My autistic child got hold of the foam filter while the dust bin was being emptied. He was so quick. we have the nz801ukco shark can this be used … Read more

Before you spend out on a new one, I would contact Shark and explain what happened. They might be willing to send you out a replacement for free if they’re fairly inexpensive. Lots of companies are really nice about these kind of things and word of mouth counts for a lot, especially these days with social media.

Try amazon I bought a couple for my shark there, so when one filter is being washed I can fit spare. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JQ9VSF7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edit - Looking at post again may be different model.

Mark_Hickman

As mentioned above, ebay is your best bet. If your child is anything like mine i feel your pain, we cant go an hour without needing the hoover, the joys of autism 😩

IDUNNOWHATIWANT

I've not chanced it. No point Will get the replacements in before it's used

If the filter is before the motor, and as it is foam I'd guess it is, then using the vacuum without it will likely damage the motor.

My mum has a Dyson DC24 Animal (which was their lightest Dyson at the time - around 9 years old). The brush bar has stopped rotating, and after troubleshooting with Dyson today sh… Read more

Pretty disappointing to be honest as they have done in-home repair not long after they launched the original Dyson back in the 90's because they couldn't keep up with repairs that were being shipped back to factory. Dyson engineer who used to service mine was one of the first to be employed by Dyson as a field service engineer in Newcastle, I'm sure he will be pleased that he retired when he did! Looking at the website it seems they have now moved to video call diagnostics and mail in repairs where they pick your faulty one up using a courier, repair it and then send it back to you.

Can hear mum discussing this today (about Dyson's guarantee/repair service at home). I've had this confirmed by a few people on HUKD too (about Dyson laying off their on-site repair staff). Apparently the guy mum chatted to said they were treated quite shoddily and laid off within a matter of weeks. I suspect Dyson have outsourced most of their staff abroad, not sure.

Anyone know what the difference between the Shark Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner With Powered Lift Away [NZ801UKT] and the other AZ910UKCAR model? Is it just the different… Read more

This is one vacuum well worth getting excited for <3 7 months on and the novelty still hasn't worn off.

Thank you ! Yeah I should of put the links on, maybe bit to technical for me lol. This has help me a lot, i think i will just keep the one i have coming today as it has the pet and car kits included anyway even though I mistakenly ordered the car kit box, instead of the pet one! But seems its all included anyway, and the colour doesn’t matter. Thanks for the reply it’s certainly helped. I just can’t believe my life has got to the excitement of a new hoover coming ? 😬

notalwaysright19

A link would help answer this more accurately. But if you're talking about this; https://sharkvacuum.co.uk/#NZ801UKT And this https://sharkvacuum.co.uk/#AZ910UKCAR Then yes, it's just the difference in attachments and colour. Otherwise they're the same product. One will be orange and navy with the pet attachment and one will be purple and silver with the car care kit. The only other difference now (they've changed it recently) is the purple and silver one (AZ910UKCAR) has a larger floorhead compared to the other one. Not sure if that's actually a good thing though as a smaller floorhead means it fits into narrow spaces but then a larger floorhead covers a larger area in a shorter time. Quite often they have the double upgrade where they give the car care kit and pet brush with one purchase.

Dealt with their CS for a Fault I had on Shark vacuum I've got. Unfortunately it was out of guarantee but they were fantastic they sent me a new motor unit all I had to do was pay for postage only took a few days to get to me (y) .

Yea ordered a shark just over 2 years ago - excellent vacuum. Customer services best I’ve ever experienced. Roller bar stopped working 2 weeks ago, went online to look to buy a new roller, and answered a few questions about what was wrong. They said under warranty (5yr) so replaced the whole roller assembly bit free. Was in the website about 530pm, new part delivered 1030am next day.

I have the anti hair wrap liftaway and love it! Didn't think I would ever leave my Dyson but these are amazing.

yorkie12

Think there's only Shark do the anti hair wrap thing - so no choice really if that's a feature you want.
