It floats around this price when in offer. I got it for a similar prices. Stonking vac, just keep the filters clean and the suction power stays strong. I put the filters (once I've smashed the dust out them) in a delicates bag along with other dirty rags in the washing machine and they come out clean and like new. The hair wrap thing does fact the 'method' works so well it's been mimicked in new dysons

Best case fans I've used are the ek Vardar fans. Seem to be a carbon copy of scythe GTs

Arctic is a great budget option but they have coil whine at some RPM ranges so I wouldn't call them silent

I wouldn't call these quiet, looks like they prioritise looks over anything. Get the Arctic cooling fans if you want budget and silence.

I took a punt on the Aerocool Astro 12 Pro they look ery nice, but the shroud makes the fan smaller and the performance is poor Running 2 intake and 1 exhaust my PC shut down due to GPU temp albeti was the hottest day this year. Hopefully these will be better nut i'd keep the reciept handy

100% agree with comments about tools - much more flimsy than older models. Also never get water in it - the power to the motor head runs down exposed conductors inside the wand, and ours caught fire after picking up a few drops from a spill.

I'm comparing to my 6 year old shark which has a power-brush attachment that is extremely sturdy, of a usefully large size and is extremely powerful. The new model's version is at risk of falling apart and stalls when touching a surface, sturdiness has been abandoned so that it can be made to look flashy with clear plastic. Even the regular brush attachment is a poor imitation with just a few bristles that are extremely short and pretty much of no use. Shark have shifted their offerings from usefulness and reliability to 'something that looks good that we can list in the package'. When I've spoken to the lovely Shark employees, they've been in agreement. It is such a shame because the Shark of 6 years ago seemed to understand the failings of, say Hoover, and now they're producing similarly shoddy products.

You need the anti hair wrap models! The corded upright version is the NZ801UKT currently £199 on the shark website and it’s worth the extra £50 brilliant vacuum it is!

I had this hoover and it was the worst purchase I ever made. Sometimes I couldn't even move it, like it was glued to the floor. It didn't pick up well either. Was loud like a jet plane. Thank goodness Amazon took it back.

From what I understand its not as good as other models. The one with 80ukt in the name is probably the one you need like myself. There's some refurbished ones on ebay ao for around £150ish

Does anyone have this model? Is it good for picking up women's hair from the carpet without the need to keep cutting it off the roller (as per my current Vax model)!!

Awesome vacuum....🔥 🔥 🔥

Sent mum's NV602UKT back to Amazon as well, picked up today (strangely, and I don't return big ticket items often, Amazon refunded me as soon as Hermes scanned it on pick up). Assume the returns will end up on Warehouse. I made a point of cleaning the brush roll (took me blimmin' ages as the brush roll doesn't remove easily, my Shark NV800UKT's removes with two buttons) and the dust bin/cup, as I've had some disgusting returns sent out to me (just my small gesture towards good Amazon Warehouse karma). For an older lady who doesn't have much agility or strength, the NV602 sticking on the carpet at certain angles was just too difficult for mum. I'm much fitter and found it tough - my 22 year-old niece even commented on it when she had a go! I had it at the lowest settings: MIN Suction and Hard Floors. I will say the NV602 is nice and light, and quiet, but the stuttering over carpets or stopping dead were just too impossible to put up with. Not sure if it's a "lifestyle" thing as many households now have laminate, tile or solid wood floors instead of carpet? I have mostly laminate at mine, so it's hard to say if all Shark corded uprights are carpet chewers. Purchased a Dyson Small Ball Allergy from the Dyson ebay store instead. Will see what she thinks of it (she tried one out in Currys today but they couldn't price-match).

I bought this recently for £129.99, but currently this is the best price, so hot. What I will say is that our living room has thick/soft pile carpet and it was difficult to push this vacuum on that type of carpet (so it had to go back). I asked Shark if they had a recommendation for that type of carpet and they came back with: - Shark NZ801UK/UKT - Shark AZ950UK/UKT Also I believe that these other vacuums would work on that type of carpet: - Sebo vacuums (looks like a 70's boxy design) - Hoover Breeze Evo (with a 5 heights, but fixing the attachments looks to be a pain) Hope this helps, as it's been a nightmare to find UK recommendations for our carpet (we've looking at fixing our old vacuum!)
