Yes, they have got them in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. I thought of buying one but was put off with the fact that it is useless against thick pile carpet.
What brand? Vileda?
Lidl are selling one right now in Aberdeen £79.99 I seen it yesterday.
That's why the daleks never conquered earth
This one mops and is somehow related to lg (Edit to be nice)
Well, I bought one. The main body is reasonably well constructed. However, the tools are dire. The segments are plastic and want to fall apart. The main handle is too short and the head is awkward to angle correctly for good suction. The flex is too short and has no storage on the body. The vacuum is very loud to use. I plan to add a cyclone and use it for dust extraction in the workshop so it’ll fit my needs. As a normal vacuum cleaner - it blows (as noted in the description).
Good for you. You don't want to work on a place like that and you don't want to wait too long to find out. (strong)
I got sacked from my very first job at Game for breaking a Henry vacuum while cleaning at the end of the day.
The wickes wet n dry is top notch
WOW, a lot of hate for henry; is it because he isnt white?? Not sure how they can advertise as "original", when the EU have forced them to downgrade the motor size; but overall he is a sturdy bit of kit, last a long time and has a plentiful supply of replacement bits for when they eventually wear out.
Picked today & regret :( Will go back as it’s only for garage or tradesmen Not suitable for Home at all.
Well suck me up and blow me out
Had one for years. Works like a trooper. Hoovered the lawn with it after doing some carpentry at the weekend; not a hint of complaint. Wouldn't use one as a daily hoover without changing the head.
As has been said, the hose kinks and the attachments are cheap rubbish. Other than that a solid performer.
Thanks OP, would like to buy this. If anyone has a £5 code that they are not using, would be very grateful for one
Well mine arrived early today from amazon and when i switched it on i was dis-heated when the motor came to life as it sounded quit puny compared to my other vacuum cleaners i have used including a dyson in the past . But my first impression was completely reversed once i started using this skinny beast on the carpets as it goes over the carpet with relative ease on setting two but once you switch it to turbo mode it will give your arm a good work out as the suction is so good. My sister has been staying with me a short while so i thought i would give her room a quick run over with it even though it looked clean enough but it turns out the carpet had plenty of her entangled hair in it which my previous vacuum completely failed to pick up. Defently worth the money as long as it carry's on working like this for the next 2 to 3 years. Also note there's no hose or tools included whith this vacum.
I know you shouldn't have to and you are right to complain but if you wanna fix the problem a soldering iron should do it :)
Had the white version of this for a few years now that comes with extra accessories. The head roller stopped working after just over two years and a quick call to Bosch and an engineer came out, swapped the whole head part over for a new one and also left us with a handle section as he said that might go so keep it spare. Hasn't gone (touch wood) and no problems since. Best vacuum I've ever bought & well worth switching from decades of corded beasts. Was kicking myself for not buying a second one when Amazon dropped the price of the exact white version to just over £120 a year or two back & now regularly over £200. Get the 25v models if you can for extra run time.
No worries..would just me more apt if it was the same model
5.0 out of 5 starsBosch athlet BCH62560GB cordless upright vaccum. 22 February 2017Verified Purchase This is an excellent cordless vaccum cleaner, so now my corded big cumbersome vaccum does not see light of day anymore. No more struggling and getting angry, makes vaccuming a breeze. My only grief is that it does not come with attachments so these have to be purchased separately
Still in Asda Handsworth Sheffield for £22 - model GSV302R. 3in stock
I bought this hoover last year to use in the car and caravan and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It picks up really well, far better than I was expecting for the price! I paid about £30. I would happily buy this again at full price, so for £22 it’s a great deal. I wouldn’t want to hoover the whole house but for a quick spillage in kitchen/lounge etc it’s great and for car, caravan/motorhome it’s ideal. I have a dyson at home and I couldn’t justify spending hundreds on a handheld dyson for car/caravan etc.
May as well invest in something that will actually clean your carpet
This or Dyson Cyclone?
Came for the deers, ended up with a hoover and missed out on a deer when I pressed the get deal button. I'm hoping this will be handy after the kids have had a snack and I can't be asked to take out the big one. I won't read the reviews, it's just going to bias my view plus I just want something to make my life that tad easier

Email/phone the company, give them the model number and they will hopefully answer your query.
so if its the suction , it should be doing a great. i certainly looked over the web to give to able to give the suction power!! no info clogging ( more to with the type of debris not too worried these) in any-case a kind person should be able to unload the info page hopefully it's in there! if anyone can help thanks in advance 🙏
Its mainly the suction, the filters clog very easily even if you are emptying it every day. I used it 2-3 times and my wrist and elbow were definatley not jhappy with it, though I am over 60 I`m fairly fit, manouvering it between furniture and all the wee twists is quite repetetive and I do think it will cause quite a few people problems after they have used it for a while.
Completely agree customer services are excellent but mine broke in same place twice.
Don't do it. I bought on a similar deal from has a while ago. The product when it arrived was cheap and nasty. It blocked all the time as it didn't even have the power to suck dirt all the way into the chamber. Even at a supposed 70% off it seemed overpriced.
That's a bit rough let's hope the brand doesn't Die-Soooooon !!!!
Dyson are the worst was told in a email that a two year warranty is basically after 6 months if it breaks it's on you to prove its Dyson's fault.... (mad) 🔨 Had a engineer today was supposed to be a fixed fee of £99 to fix it.....then the engineer was telling me it was another £17 for filters not included in the £99 fee 😡 Dyson got shown the front door before he even got his tools out....🙃
To be honest I had worst customer services ever. :)
Your lucky , i wasnt so much . Think ill call cosco tom see what they say .
Shark are great from my experience. 5 year warranty too.
I didnt have the receipt , read a few reviews about Shark and they werent good so prob gave up too easily .
Thank you , i didnt return it to cosco because i didnt have the receipt . Ill maybe give them a wee call see what they say .
Got this vacuum. And have had a small trial around the house. First impressions good. Like others say, appeared to pull dirt and dust that my previous bagged upright had left behind. Decided we were filthy pigs. But the collection chamber is small and see through so it easily accentuates the collected dirt. +ves Easy to empty and disassemble/assemble. Simple to get to and remove and clean the beater bar. In lift mode (when the body is detached from the base) it is lightweight enough to hold in one hand with hose in the other. The power cord is a good length. It doesn't smell or irritate as much as my previous. But the filters are new and likely clean. -ves Feels plasticy. Looks horrid. Plastic chrome is fugly. Not sure if the landing lights are needed - they may as well have these with a left-right swooshing neon, to make it look like a Cylon. The main torso is so lightweight I question what's actually in it. Maneuverability is okay. It's a bit unwieldy and doesn't feel that nice to use. In lift mode, it easily falls over. I haven't worked out if there is a way to lift the beater bar as my previous model to adjust for different carpet pile lengths. The collection chamber is small - very small, and the hose is quite narrow near the head. Wouldn't suit large items in clean up jobs. I was quite impressed with the simplicity, ruggedness and build quality of my last ancient upright. The internals were just a motor and the rest hardened plastic housing/piping. But I think the age had eventually worn the motor. I did try and totally disassemble - but it still didn't pick up well and sounded bad. The downfall of the old bag designs seems to be quickish clogging that leads to loss of suction. And they smell and expel dust. For now the Shark seems to be doing a better job than the old, but I'm already dreading it going wrong and having to pay for postage. Fingers crossed it will last. I wouldn't want to spend more money than this on a vacuum. And I do regret buying it already, even at this price, I got sucked in on this 'hot deal'. Other reviewers here and on Amazon seem to be happy with theirs, and I'll just have to trust their endorsement and hope they aren't shill accounts. When you have the product in hand it feels a little like snake oil. With hindsight I should have saved my money and bought a £50 Hoover.

I wouldn't try to blow it if I were you ;)
Thanks OP, just picked up the last one in Hamilton. Surprisingly good vacuum (handheld works well too) compared to the Bosch one I have which was significantly more expensive. Briefly tested as it's for a relative.
80% 4 & 5 Star. Reading the low scores they are largely about failure to charge: I have one and find it great but just once it failed to charge: I'm pretty certain it's because I hadn't put back fully into the charging cradle (too easy to do but now I know...).
Is that a detachable whistle !!!
Got one. Great piece of kit. I usually hate black and decker stuff if I'm honest but this is really good for money. Still hate them for not making Dyson style filters. It is absolute pain to clean filter but otherwise great kit.
I have this (bought a couple of years ago for maybe £12) and it's OK. Runs for about 10 - 15 minutes from a single charge, the sucking isn't that strong but enough to pick up e.g. sand from a hard floor and it's a bit fiddly to empty and clean. Build quality isn't great either, but for the price, excellent value for money!
Still cheaper than Dyson V7 Trigger car vac!
That’s not the price! I got the car brush which was £2.50 or 2 for £4, it’s car cleaning items that are that price and I got this vacuum last week for £8.99
And probably 300x worse.
Yeah. In Lidl the price tickets are above the item not below . Hope no one goes on a wild goose chase
I am currently borrowing the DC34 Animal and it works fine. It's not meant for hoovering the entire house.
also appears for similar amounts on Dyson eBay store which is where I picked mine up. http://www.ebaystores.co.uk/Dyson-Outlet/Refurbished-/_i.html?_fsub=864005010&_sid=637260360&
Depends what you use it for I use it for small jobs like cleaning the car and it has far better suction than a lot of the other hand held Vacuums and you don't have all the extension cables getting in the way.
Paid £74 @ TKmax last March
I have it . Weak suction. Can only be used for 15 minutes before waiting another 4 hours of wired charging. Dosent work if more rhan slightly full. Useless .
Thanks for that. Very much appreciated 😃
Argos have a great returns policy should anyone not be 100% happy.
The EU rules around wattage don't apply to wet and dry vacuums, or commercial vacuums with a wide wand head. Here's a 1600 watt, 367 airwatt one for £200:- https://www.cleva-uk.com/vacmaster-power-50-wet-dry-vacuum-cleaner-vje1650sw However, wet and dry ones usually come with a very poor wand that flexes and is awkward to use and will stick to the carpet due to poor design, and the above does not look to be an exception.
I had one for years (y)
There should be a good deal here.. instead there's just a vacuum... Seriously though, it's a bit confusing. The same model went hot 2 weeks ago at £99 in store only
Guess this deal sucks.
Think the comments above speaks volumes. Volumes of dust that shark will suck up no problem.
We opted to pay the extra £30 and buy the AX910UKB version as we are a family of four and two cats. So glad we went for this. Really light to use when split and really happy how this performed. In fact I thought our previous one did well, how wrong we were! I would of gone down the G-Tech route but felt this covered all bases in one set up. In fact also paid up for the car cleaning set which is great not just for that but also cleaning all the gadgets.
Have thought about one of these to replace my dyson but I am also tempted to get a g-tech. Does anyone have any recommendations
Depends if you want a wider head for suction, so i guess it depends on how much you value £30 and less access to small spaces.
Paid £22 for mine, surprising good for the price
Out of stock now. :(
Ye oldies are the best. (lol)
I suspect you only buy them 4 at a time.
I have 6 rooms to hoover????
Yes. I recommend dyson v10. You buy it.
Plenty in stock in Sleaford today. Ive had mine out of the box but not used it yet. Seems like a decent bit of kit, well designed and manouvreable.
I’m looking for a vacuum can anyone recommend any please
"With a large dirt bin capacity so you can clean for longer". Wrong. The dust capacity is small. I have to empty 3 times during one cleaming session. The design for attaching tools is pathetic and time consuming. The wiring is cheap and thin. Do not vacuum over it. I miss my high powered Panasonic (not permitted under the pathetic EU rules). Note VAX no longer appear to have confidence in thier products as they reduced the warranty period from 6 years to a paltry 2 years. Assume it will last a little more than 2 years. Dyson and Shark all offer more than a 2 year warranty. The plus side is the cost of this vacuum cleaner and it is light. I purchased it as a stop gap until I see a deal on another vacuum cleaner.
We’re on the 2nd Vax but I’ve got no problem with them....
I’m a sucker for a bargain in a sale ;(
After the 1st you’ve made a mistake then, but what happened after the 2nd one? :/
3 vax cleaners and 2 years later..... I’ll never buy another Vax
