Yeah nothing on eBay for that price.. Cold comment!
Just check on eBay. Where I bought already sold out .
do you have link please?
I bought new for only £89 with eBay voucher. Cold
I would reccomend dyson outlet on ebay
Don't know why cold. £60 off normal price if u plan to get one anyway
It's still loud but it's much quieter as a typical dryer. You can normally try them out in Currys or JL.
How noisey are these? My little girl hates drying her hair because of the noise.
Yeah I agree it's really expensive. Thanks for your thoughts!
The previous one I used felt better to hold and the buttons easier to access when drying. The dyson is quite sturdy but you have to access the buttons on the back of the dryer bit itself which means you can't turn it on/off whilst it's facing your hair. I haven't noticed any difference in the drying time of my hair or the finish. I just think that it is very overpriced for what it is compared to other easier to use hairdyers.
Haha, the same Dyson V6 Animal - the battery last only 15 - 20 mins as supposed to - still happy as it’s enough to do 3 rooms downstairs and on second charge upstairs
Which cordless model do you have? I’m thinking of getting a newer one (I have the v6 but the battery goes after 20 mins) and interested in whether it would be a real upgrade...
The cordless are great, using one for last two years - highly recommended
Any promo codes??
just get them real one
I didn't know they made a cordless ball vacuum, nice!
Heat from me
Don’t know why this is cold :/ Good price !
WHy is this cold? I’ve been waiting for this to drop in price my son will love it matches mine. Bought and heat thanks
He was talking about being last of the corded models which it will be. James Dyson has already stated that they have stopped designing corded models. Yes it will be a couple of years before they phase out corded but their will no more improved Dyson cylinder or uprights models released, personally think this is a backward step.
thas a great deal!
I've jut sold a corded Dyson to friend - mint condition etc.... as got a cordless. The cordless is good - but I miss the corded one now! The corded still have better suction.
Unfortunately,no it won’t.
I’ve got a shag pile carpet . Is it any good for sucking up the hairs . Dog makes a mess.
how much extra is it for the car kit?
Not at all. The car and boat reference is just the extra cleaning heads you get, so this is better than the normal V6 standard Dyson.
I agree. Dyson refurb store on ebay is the way to go, if you can wait. I picked up this exact car and boat V6 for £115 six months ago.
Perhaps the V8? I've heard of poor performance on the V6 here but not the V8. IIRC I looked at both V6 and V8 in Currys and they are very very similar in form. The V10 is lots bigger, probably too big for small space work without a hose.
Referbs with the motorhead attachment frequently appear in Dyson's eBay store for less than this. They come like new with a years warranty. I paid £110 for a v6 three weeks ago. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dyson_outlet/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
Imagine being so smart not knowing that attaching the hose takes more power from the hoover, meaning it'll run out of charge even quicker, almost as fast as you last in bed. Keep wiping those tears by the way.
Imagine being so simple you think you have to bend down to use motorised head and not just attach it to the end of the hose :'D
There is every single attachment, different lengths hoses static and adjustable of various lengths. Not my fault you can't work this out. Should have just returned the V8 within the 1 month period (for any reason) if it's as terrible as you make out
D A F T B I N T
You crouch down and hoover the entire time with the motor head? Jesus Christ. And I'm the ignorant one? You're not replying to my points because you know I'm right, but to feed that ego you go the cowards way out. Here's a picture of it kiddo, thanks for wasting 2 minutes of my life. Left the note specially on a box of tissues so you can wipe those tears.
Whats a barnd name? (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil)
Indeed, lots of what were originally brand names have become into common usage such as hoover, google, escalator and heroin.
Even if you insist on using the barnd name as a generic you still don't capitalise it! It's not as though 'vacuum cleaning' or even 'vacuuming' is such a difficult term, is it?
Most people say Hoovering but hardly anyone at anyone normal uses the term Dysoning ! (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil) (devil)
I'd like to be able to get a cheap compatible flexible extension hose - as I find managing the onboard flexible hose that you put attachments on stiff and unwieldy, especially as I have nerve damage in my arms.
£300 for a hairdryer (lol) wtf
If you think it’s so crap then why are ALL hairdressers using them these days?! To me it sounds like you can’t afford it and haven’t even tried it but your sitting on your high horse commenting about how YOU don’t like it... (lol)
So many people complaining about something they don't want or have even used. Saw people doing this when Dyson came out with their vacuums and now people pay that price and more. Dyson innovate and redesign. Don't like it? Don't buy it. Just don't act all jealous and put people down for buying these products. Dyson rethought how a vacuum works. Now most vacuums follow that design... Though they still don't improve like Dyson. For how many dryers my girlfriend has gone through over the years and how noisy they are it's probably be a saving to buy this if they last as long as the vacuum... Hopefully we see a better saving soon.
(lol) (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)
A £300 hair dryer? It moves warm air for folks sake. I'd expect it to pipe me off each time for that much. And even then it'd be overpriced. (cheeky)
No not being rude its a great post thanks (y) . I meant typical after a Dyson and not included.
It gave me a code, with a list of vacuums it worked with (or so I thought) lol Sorry about that.
Does not work on dyson.
So had a bit of a faff with my faulty one. Dyson arranged to exchange it twice now, both times no-one turned up. So now they are sending me a brand new V6 and will collect the faulty refurb one. Unsure if that means it comes with a longer warranty or something but at least it should work!
My one moan is that the air thats blown out gets me in the face lol
Mines a DC59 which apparently is a V6. It also appears as such when registering it online to get the years gurentee. I can honestly say this is the best gadget I've purchased in a long time. It's so handy for cleaning. It's not as good as a hosed vacuum for the car but for cleaning the house it is great. I always hated lugging around the old vacuum but this thing is quick and easy. It's also great for cleaning more than floors such as windows, surfaces and ornament. When my corded Dyson finally gives up I'll be investing in a V10 (or whatever the latest model is) and buying a cheap hosed vacuum for car cleaning. Thanks OP for the find. My dad is just mad he missed out on this deal.
Thanks for the find again, after using the Dyson, I can confirm its actually really amazing!
Standard price on Dyson web site.
Picked one up in Tesco Solihull yesterday £149 - much cheaper :(
Same price everywhere: dyson, currys, johnlewis
You don't get a 'proper' hose with any on the Dyson hand helds I can think of.... the hose seen in my link does stretch but it's for cars and the like.
Not what you get if you buy the vacuum with the proper hose.
https://www.dyson.co.uk/support/journey/tools/913049-01.html Not difficult to find. Other cheaper versions are also available.
Nope, but you can still use it if you get it
Same price in Argos but a £10 voucher with it.
This deal sucks
They are all dyson workers here that’s why
All I can tell you is what I received, it looked good on first inspection but had some bits of dust in the chamber and smelled awful, not sure why you'd think I would lie about it. I was put off trying again for a refurb but it seems everyone else got a pristine one so might try again.
Check it fits. My mum had a dc and had to get an adaptor to fit other tools on her V6. If you vacuum a lot of rooms at once I’d get the v8. If you are more like me and vacuum one of two rooms at a time then I’d probably get the v6. The v8 has a better bin emptying mechanism but if it’s double the price I’m not sure I’d spend the extra.
I’ve had the V6 for 2 years now. I did regret not getting the V8 as the V6 would never quite last long enough to clean the whole house...I’d get the V8
The V6 is £129.99. Is it worth spending double on the v8? I've already bought a fluffy head to fit into my now dead Dc59 so that will fit on the v6
Free delivery disappeared then?
No free delivery option, only click and collect and I ain't traveling 200 miles to get a few brushes and bag. I do use these Dyson brush accessories quite a bit in my multi creviced Georgian house and fancied the idea of a second set as I always manage to leave the adaptor I require at any given moment a couple of floor levels above or below where I'm currently vacuuming.
It's actually bad to remove everything anyway. The germs all around you and in tiny dust/dirt particles keep your immune system in check. That's why you *should* let your kids crawl around on the ground (as long as there's nothing toxic, dog poop, etc.).
That's wrong as it won't fit any of the "Stick Vacuums" (V8, V10 etc) as they use a different attachment.
Its just a scam how dyson keep coming out with new incompatible fittings. Forced obsolesence, no wonder the world is drowning in plastic junk.
Yup, that's why we're all here ;)
Comments are funny
sold out of the ones in post 1 light ball total clean left in the reduced area upstairs right of the dyson stand £149 no tools or box
Good thinking Batman (poo)
Funny looking gaming laptop
The Lidl one was cheaper.
Bought the V8 at this price from a private seller.
Dyson, The inventor, poor reliability. In mine, the turbo button stop working, and more issues. You will regret to buy this. Overpriced even at 50£.
That's what I did a few months back as wasn't in a rush. Got a v6 trigger but received v6 animal with warranty for about £80ish. Was absolutely brand new despite being 'refurbished'. I must come across as sad when I say its one of the best gadgets in the house (lol)
Is that what they term, sarcasm? That or you're a comic genius, but I doubt it.
I see what you did there. lol (lol)
So the Miele had better suction but was nosier?.
I do get what you mean, unfortunately nowadays it’s the way electrical items works, take example the phones: I tried to use for more than two years - first battery will show the shortage of life, second the software became very slow, eventually the phone will die.
Bought a shark after having many a dyson. Would not go back.
