No idea why this is so cold. We needed a new kitchen scale and I was looking at these amongst others yesterday. Didnt buy then and I'm glad because I just got one with the discount. Thanks OP. Heat added for what it's worth.

Nodame

Does the Taylor Pro Dual Platform scale measure in 0.1g increments?

Chorx

Don't know about the price but they make amazing scales, we bought our Taylor Pro a couple of months ago and absolutely love it, 20 year gaurantee, hands free zero function, large surface area for big bowls and can handle up to 14.4 kg. These scales make cooking so much easier.

They were cheaper than this a few weeks ago so hold on they will go down again

Just sent this back to Ninja, lasted all of a couple of weeks before becoming faulty. Performance of the machine is fairly average, but then it is a budget machine. Replaced with a Vitamix, far better in all respects; like anything, you get what you pay for.

A blender and a juicer should be as common in every kitchen as a toaster and a kettle are!

This is also available from argos for the same price if you have one in your local area (also posted on here). I got mine price matched from AO.com from their original selling price of £149.99. I hope someone finds this deal useful. Cheers

For those that have seen the 3.3L deal, go for this Classic 4.3L instead - if you’d actually like to bake. Better still is the Artisan 4.8L. A real investment!

The milk out the delonghi machines is how milk should be, If you heat the milk too much it changes the taste and ruins the drink.

tomag23

Vary hard to clean from coffee leftovers. Best coffee for this is the dry one, avoid oily beans. Some friends said that the coffee could be hotter. Even when you change temperatue to the max. for some thd coffee will be still not hot enough. Overall very good value for money. Only major downside is cleaning...

Got to say that is very pretty. No wand tho which is a shame if you like latte's

JWALT0

Absolutely not. Go and do some research.. they're a well known German company. I have a Barista TSP which replaced a De Longhi and it's on another level. Their customer services are top notch too.

manbearpig

This is a narrow machine but is very deep. I can’t understand why they haven’t made them smaller than this, it’s such a waste of space. Good machine, but mine broke after 1.5 years. Costco took it back and give a full refund.

Al3xt93

Great machine - we've had one at home for a few years, and I've just bought another as I've moved out. My only problem with it is that the drip tray is a little small, so needs emptying every couple of days. It can be loud when it's operating, but I've never had another machine to compare it to. I'd usually pay £2.50 or so for a coffee at work - so really, when you factor that in, the machine pays for itself in a couple of months if you use it enough.

I appreciate it's an obvious answer but the life of the filter basically depends on how much water you put through it and how hard your water is but unless you're willing to have post-filter water samples tested on a regular basis (either by a lab or by yourself - you can buy kit to do this) then it's a case of going by the taste and/or scale build-up, neither of which are very scientific or objective. Last year I tried to find good objective reviews/comparisons but failed to do so and decided to stick with Brita because I know they reduce lead (Pb) which is important to me. Brita's website states: "To ensure you enjoy high quality BRITA filtered water, replace the filter cartridge at regular intervals. The lifetime of a filter cartridge depends on the local water quality. If your mains water contains a carbonate hardness of 10 -12°dH, the filter cartridge should be replaced after 100 litres of water. If the water is harder or consumption is greater, the lifetime of the cartridge reduces accordingly. The cartridge should be replaced at least every four weeks." You can get detailed water test results for your postcode area from your mains water supplier. I change mine roughly every 6 weeks but that's only about 60 litres for me and my tap water is "slightly hard."

lucas

I get 2-3 weeks max in London, tried others brands but no better.

Believe_Me

Fits both Aqua Optima & Brita MAXTRA filter jug (not MAXTRA+ filter jugs) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0056H42JW

Quad

I was given a brita jug but havent bought any filters for it yet. reading reviews seems these filters only last 2 weeks. Thats not economically viable for me. does anybody know alternative cheaper ones that last maybe couple of months? I know there are others but have no clue which are any good and do the same job.

Love the one fitted in my bedroom. Just ordered 2 more for the lounge. Great value. My stockpile of redundant Philips Hue bulbs continues to grow :( They were not cheap, but the light they produce is too feeble. I installed a centre feed dispenser in my kitchen some 6 years ago. I usually get some Tork branded centrefeed (£22 for 6 X 157 metre rolls)... Lasts me at least a good 8 months each time and I've never looked back. It's just a shame that when I shop for the in laws, I still have to grab a few packs of kitchen rolls for them every two not so weeks. Still, great price for this brand and quantity.

ms84

Description says 75 sheets per roll so the picture is misleading unless as you say its 150 per double pack and you get 4 double packs ;) well spotted anyway as I've missed that bit (y) :p

Wait... 8 rolls at 150 sheets each roll... How does that equate to 600 sheets? Or is that 150 sheets per double pack?
