It disappeared online. However my local store had 45 bags last night and a few less after I left.

Does anyone else find B&Q offers just happen to be out of stock at their local store?

Usually, but there are over 100 in my local store apparently. Click and Collect only, N/A for delivery. Will check if that's accurate later today.

Nearly 200 showing in my local (Carmarthen) earlier this morning. Placed a C&C order for 26 bags. Will see what stock levels look like when I get there in a bit. Thanks for this deal!

Ordered 30 bags which will do for next year. This stuff is up there with one of the best, it still has peat whereas many brands like b&q verve and others have slowly removed peat all together. There's still some hard woody bits in this soil but if you sieve it or give yourself a bad back and pick the rough stuff out, this compost will help produce great plants.

There's still better stuff out there but for £3 it's a real bargain. I've been buying this stuff from wickes etc 3 for £16 throughout the summer.

Don't know the reason for b&q reducing this stuff heavily with no reductions on other soil. Just want to add John Innes no1 and no2 is on sale also, it's appearing as being reduced to £5 in store however it is £3 on the app so click and collect it.

I've never created my own deal on here but thought it was worth telling you guys!

Brilliant offer. The issue is it's OOS in all the stores near me. I ordered for delivery but in my experience they always cancel orders that include compost for some reason.

Placed order click and collect for what looked like the last 4 in stock, got a call saying none in stock and they offered to give me the home b&q brand for same price (usually £7) any idea whether I should keep or return it?

Reviews are worse for the B&Q stuff but compost is very hit and miss. I've had it and it's been fine, I would have been very happy with it for £3. Even the Westland stuff has incredibly mixed reviews, half give it 5 stars, half give it 1 star and there are very few reviews inbetween.

The last bag of this I bought was very sandy and dense, not nice. Similar experience with the Homebase stuff listed here on a deal a couple of months ago. Was awful in pots and containers.
I literally finished the bag of Westland this evening and ended up mixing it down with far too much improver and grit so it would drain properly.
Previous bags have been fine so I'm assuming it's very inconsistent stuff.

That seems to be the same with all composts these days. Even Jack's Magic that was previously considered the gold standard for compost was bad last year. I guess the reducing/removing peat has made an effect on the quality of most composts.

Wickes price is £6.75 so it's a deal at B&Q if indeed they have any in stock. We can all offer huge discounts on stuff we haven't got!

First B&Q I went to did not have any stock, despite showing online. Then went to B&Q super store and had some. They are going fast.

Coming to Autumn I expect more lines will be reduced.

The app isn't accurate with the stock levels I've found no matter when you go in. Sometimes if it shows 3 In stock there's none then other times like today says none of something in stock but there was in fact 2. Some times things are in a completely different aisle on the huge shelves. Quite badly organised shops lol
