    Try taking a screenshot of the “Lidl Plus card” if you struggle to get it load in store.

    They still have them, at least 3 days ago i got 1 in store. But usually it is the first one to get out of stock.

    Good for those who got it, but as other mentioned, prices went up, empty shelves, and stupid coupon gifts to buy stuff that you don't usually buy. Aldi all the way for me.

    I agree it's gone downhill and Aldi has taken pole position. Supply issues seems to be Lidl's downfall and Aldi always seem to be well stocked up on everything.

    As others have said, Lidl has really disappointed me lately. Used to be my go to - every time I go now it’s empty shelves and not hugely competitive prices.

    Lidl are really struggling to keep their shelves stocked it seems, always seems to be the few specific items I want that they don't have any of. Their app is garbage as well, the rewards are terrible - you spend like £40 and get £2 off next time or whatever, but you only have 7 days to use it! Like, I got that because I just did a huge ass shop why would I go BACK to lidl after doing a huge shop to use the £2 off? It's really annoying

    Rapidly losing patience with Lidl. Half the stuff is out of stock and the seven day coupon limit it dumb. It means I have to make sure I do at least one big shop somewhere other than Lidl so that the shop tnat tips me over £250 is within seven days of the end of the month so I can do a big shop next month and get it to count towards next month's coupon plus.

    Not quite sure what bright spark at Lidl thought making it lucrative for customers to delay their spending by spending at rivals. Very tempted to switch to Aldi so I can just go shopping without needing to think about coupons.

    I shop in Lidl all the time. Have noticed Lidl have put their prices up for everything. Not so cheap anymore.

    We used to shop at Lidl but have now gone to Aldi. Aldi is far better for meat. Aldi is now in the top 4 supermarkets over taking Morrisons.

    for this 40£ i spend 1.5 hrs today in lidl as like you said most of the stuff are out of stock, eventually i buy a lot of snack which is spending a lot on unnecessary thing

    Much prefer Aldi, hate Lidl’s weird middle aisle nonsense, nowhere near as good as Aldi’s! Never any stock in my local Lidl either!

    Went to Lidl a few days ago and noticed a lot of price increases. Will be going to Aldi in future as it's superior anyway which seems to be the consensus here

    You are right. The app will show the validity date and as long as you activate it before then, you will have 14 days to use it by.
    They seem to be releasing them in batches so may be everyone may get it in different weeks........ Jay keep an eye on the app and email for a notification (edited)

    I got caught out today by the ‘no alcohol’ clause - I’m sure you used to be able to include 1 bottle of wine in the deal?

    Struggled, what with the OOS’s and the higher prices, to reach £40 so feel a little cheated.

    It does say no alcohol in T&Cs but I understand as I have been in similar situation and I ran and got something like dishwasher tablets or coffee/tea which are both closeby to the checkout!

    Annoyed with their Lidl Plus coupons. Spent £100 and thought can use the £2 coupon over the month but seems it is only valid for 7 days and now has disappeared.

    I activated this offer, went to use it on my app and it has disappeared, anyone else experienced this. I didn't look at the small print at the time but thought it was supposed to be 14 days. Cheeky buggers.

    That is strange. I can still see it and I also got the below email reminder.

    An option would be to just email Lidl customer service and see what they say!

    Managed to redeem this 3 times. The last day to redeem was yesterday despite the promotion apparently running until 31/10 according to the T&Cs
