A shocking reminder that it was only ~3 years ago when these were routinely a quid for 4

if you can get into costco they are about £8.80 for 24, so about 37p each (edited)

Prefer this to Heinz Beanz now. Latter tastes watered down and too sweet for my liking and costs more.

Heinz must rue the day Branston decided to launch their own baked beans. They must have massively impacted Heinz's sale.

    Good deal.

I normally buy the smaller 220g half tins of these. I bought one in Tesco last week for 55p. But I was in Sainsbury's yesterday and almost had a heart attack. They've put the small tins upto £1 now. There still 55p in Tesco's.

Baked beans are perfect for freezing! But not in the can. Place in airtight container and they will last 6 months according to the article linked to below.

PS One astounding fact I got from the link below
You won’t be surprised that the UK consumes more baked beans than the rest of the world… Combined!

    And they stack.
Whereas Heinz really can't be bothered about the consumer, and so you either have one layer, or a pyramid

@bellboys Stock is very limited but I found a few in my local Iceland. Asked staff to scan it as it wasn't labelled on the shelf and they confirmed it was 50p. Thanks!

Whoa! I had to do a double take on those prices. They are my fave beans but I'm used to paying about £1.75 for a 4 pack. I had no idea that prices for baked beans had crept into cuisine status. What a joke
