Great price but I've found that fuel from Morrisons seems to burn a bit with less power?!?

There's only a few refineries in the country, it all comes from the same place

Using the PetrolPrices app, a couple of Sainsburys locations have it at those prices in that area but there is a lot of competition.

Are these apps any good these days?

Tried them a few years back and they were all rarely updated

EDIT: Installed it just now, prices for my local stations haven't been updated for a week, some prices near the busier areas have been updated about a day ago though. Guess it depends on the area (edited)

    Same here.

Supermarkets don't use regional pricing for Groceries, they only do for Fuel out of greed

They charge as much as they can get away with. It all depends on what the others charge. It's time there was a maximum charge and then we'd all be better off.

Not if the maximum charge was £2 per litre.

Exchange rate was $1.4/£1 a year ago, about $1.23/£1. Let's hope Morrisons push these prices nationwide.

It’s still too expensive people!! Don’t make £1.30 sound cheap because it still isn’t!!!

Where are all the people who been trying to protect them stations by saying they only earn 5p on a litre ? If this was the case how come there is 30p plus differences in the prices depend on location ? Another lie. As an example my boss was getting diesel in bulk for £1.35 when it was on the top about £2.02 on stations and now he is paying £1.20 so about 15p cheaper. All the prices nearly £2 per litre was inflated by people selling it on stations !

Diesel is 20p per litre cheaper than worcester. There is no justification for these variances

As I've said before local area price fixing, theyre robbing us blind like the supermarket's and their food prices

Next, all the companies claiming fuel is pushing their prices up can bring the prices back down.. oh that'll be the same as those 2 years ago claiming shipping prices were the cause of high prices (shipping containers prices have collapsed btw)

My theory is that companies are clawing back profit they lost during the pandemic. Next they will be whining to the government for support as their customers have gone.

Same. Is there an explanation as to why the price for fuel differs so much depending on where you are in the country?

I filled up for 132.9 at Sainsbury Denton yesterday. 134.9p at Sainsbury Bruntwood Park this morning.

In Grimsby this evening and 147.9p at a Jet Station I passed, and 5p-7p more at the Shell station at the (Moody Lane) roundabout near McDonalds etc.

Good £7.50 extra, at least, for a 50l tank of fuel in Grimsby rather than some parts of Manchester.
