    We went to Warmwell last year and would definitely go back. Nice modern lodge. Pool was great and soft play for young kids excellent too.

    I’ve never tried Parkdean, can anyone offer comparison to Haven? We’ve been to a few different Haven sites and have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the caravans.

    They also have a pool, arcades and entertainment and activities for the kids - is parkdean the same? (edited)

    Generally smaller sites with smaller pools often not with slides and smaller club houses and arcades but clean and nice break away

    Booked as Cornwall is half the price of haven but had to pay an extra £49 to take my pooch!

    £49 dog surcharge almost as much as the caravan. We've a 2.5kg Pomapoo, extortion given a 10x bigger dog would also be paying the same and shed, slobber and what not.

    Tempted to book the one near Dover (St. Margaret's) but put off by the accommodation reviews.

    I was there 3 years ago, was very nice.
    Clean caravan and park.
    The only issue for me was that the caravans are on grass with no pathways.
    The wife is disabled and would have been quite an issue.
    Arrived an hour early, talked to the staff nicely about it and was moved to a van on the edge with a path.

    Prices fall off a cliff after Easter.. I get it that the demand is higher but families are always going to be poorer and then paying 4 times the amount on top is miserable.

    I booked Trecco for July £5-600/7 nights(not in this offer), was in Ty Mawr last July and the boys had a blast. Only downside for me is a £500 ferry across the Irish Sea.

    Does gas come with the price or is that extra? We own a van at California Cliff's and couldn't afford to rent out so low with gas usage and cleaning.

    Yes don’t think I’ve ever booked a caravan on Park Dean or Haven where energy usage is not included.

    Thank you! For posting this. I'm off for Cheltenham festival week in march, couldn't make it to all 4 days at the race course so I've booked a little getaway in one of these. £64 for 4 nights sleeps 8 people. Crazy prices.
