I think this is really a get what you pay for decision. The Behringer is bigger, only saves a quarter of the patterns, is not mobile, has no speaker, is plastic, has no step jump or probability, has no audio over USB, does not come with a stand, takes 15 minutes to warm up and most importantly doesn't contain alternative 808 and 909 sounds It is however a lot of drum machine for a mere £83

I had a TR606 back in the day and spent many hours with it.  This is a fabulous recreation that does everything that classic did and more besides!  This vs The Behringer clone?

This wins hands down!  Great Price.

Had one of the originals back in the day - loved the handclaps and the way it could trigger the Moog.

Mine has arrived. I didn’t realise it comes with the stand, which is £63 on PMT for the other boutiques. Overall seems like a great deal.

    Thanks for the heat.

Mine arrived with a scratch on the bottom and no instruction books, which is disappointing.

Disappointment faded once I was triggering Volcas from those top ports

I'd recommend spending a little more and getting the TR-6S over this. Both use Roland's ACB but you can choose from a variety of drum machines with the TR-6S.

The TR6s probably is the better all in package, but the 06 does have a fair few plus point over it.

More patterns, trigger ports, audio in, audio interface, effects unit, speaker to name a few.

I find it very annoying the TR6s has no aux in port.
