Awesome thanks! Just grabbed Codenames Duet and Agricola but missed out on Barenpark and Grand Austria Hotel unfortunately as they are OOS now (edited)

We got the kids version of this and they love it, so bought this. Is there much difference? (Probably should’ve checked first before buying, itchy trigger finger ) (edited)

As a huge TTR fan with almost all their games, I can safely say that compared to the First Journey version of TTR Europe, this is a huge improvement.
+ The map is probably over twice the size of the kids map
+ It adds ferries and tunnels which are more interesting — albeit simple — ways to play routes
+ You get 5 deluxe train sets with 45 trains each instead of your 4 simple sets with 20 trains each (but you can still play with less trains if you like a quicker game)
+ There are stations which allow you to piggyback off other players' routes (but you don't have to use them if the kids like things simple)
+ And you get a lot more destination cards to explore new routes (108 instead of 32).
So if your family loves the kids version, you'll definitely enjoy this mega version. You'll even be able to use the 110 train cards and the deluxe trains that come with this for the expansions in the series. Hope that helps!

Having paid £70 for this a year or so back and being more than pleased with it, I have to say at this price it is an absolute bargain
  15. Unrecogniseduser's avatar
Not worth getting if I have the base game and only paid £17 for it?

    Great price, grabbed a copy.

Used the the 5% off code and happened to have £1.50 in reward/ewallet there. Don't have any version of this game but have played it a bunch. Glad to finally have a copy in my collection.

Thanks grabbed a copy for a friend's birthday (I already got a copy from the £50 amazon deal last year).
It's a bargain at this price!
They also have Barenpark for 10.95 which I also grabbed as heard good things from SUASD only one copy left now though.

That's a very pretty edition. And half the price found elsewhere. Resist.

Fantastic deal! I've got the Europe version plus the 1912 expansion pack, which is what you get in this set. At £35 that's a steal.

It's a brilliant family/adult board game with a good mix of strategy and luck.

Unfortunately, you don't get everything from the TTR Europa 1912 in the 15th Anniversary edition. The Warehouses and Depots aren't included, which kind of sucks. Surely for the (regular) price, they could've added them. But for most folks I know who have Europa 1912, they don't uses the Warehouses and Depots anyway. So it's not a huge loss for those thinking about getting the 15th Anniversary edition.

Standard edition is available for £31 from Board-game.co.uk, not as good a deal but still decent

Thank you manage to get copy this morning.

Can anyone explain what this has over the base game please? Some places state it has the 1912 expansion, others don't. No mentioned of the expansion on the Days of Wonder site being included.
    deej..hulme's avatar
I can tell you exactly what it has & doesn't have because I already own it.

Regarding the Europa 1912 expansion, the 15th Anniversary edition has all the 108 destination cards which come with that expansion, but it doesn't have the warehouses and depots from it. So it essentially has half of it.
As for your original question, the 15th Anniversary edition also has a much bigger map (but no new routes), a fancy train deck (110 cards, same amount as most original TTRs) and 5 deluxe train sets (+ tokens & stations), which for me are the best thing about this edition.
I'd say if you're not someone who plays TTR all the time religiously & don't care about an upgraded version (bigger map, fancy cards, deluxe trains, etc.), stick with the original Europe version & the 1912 expansion (if you already have it, or want a load more destination tickets).
If you're a TTR fanatic & play it all the time (especially Europe), and want the prestige as well as a beautiful set of trains to use with this & other TTR expansions, then the 15th Anniversary edition is definitely your thing. Single sets of deluxe trains can cost a pretty penny just by themselves.

Hopefully, that helps. Happy to answer any other queries. (edited)
