I keep this just for when a bit of tooth breaks and I end up with a sharp edge in my mouth. The less you use the better and I just use it to smooth the area off until I can get to the dentist. this is a great price

I stick a bit in my travel bag too gives me peace of mind for if a filling was to fall out while away. (edited)

These things don't hold at all, I had a nightmare over Christmas. Ended up having to have a tooth removed

Good price but I stopped using this kit.

I had a nasty cavity 2 years ago at the back, bought micron dental cement on Amazon for 18 quid, the filling has been in there 18 months. Top stuff, almost dental quality.

Great stuff the micron def worth the extra, have a cracked tooth down to the root due to my dentist not wanting to repair a exposed nerve after my filling fell out as i wasn't in his pain threshold... Anyway no pain luckily but had it in now for 2 years and can eat on the tooth as normal. (edited)

Used this before to temporarily fill a tooth where a pretty large filling had come out, lasted nearly two months whilst waiting for my dentist appointment for it to be filled again properly. I’ll always keep some of this on hand now 🏻

Have used this before and it worked OK for a month or so. I've bought more for the future as the dental practice I've been with for 14 years is down to its last NHS dentist, and there are no NHS dentists taking on new patients in the whole of Dorset.......

The availability of this product sends a concerning message.

The concept of individuals attempting to repair their own teeth is utterly nonsensical.

It highlights a lack of access to dental professionals.

I don’t know what is occurring in this country, but such products are not common in other developed nations.

British public need to recognise that the standards for dentists and doctors are way below acceptable levels.

    NHS is broken. (edited)

This is just temporary until you can get to the Dentist to have it done properly. My molar cracked in half or so it felt, but it was in reality a tiny chip. Still needed it filled though.

Self remedy and self treatment, welcome to the 21st century just like the 16th century but with social media to watch as we devolve as a species.

It's so sad that you can go to a GP via the NHS yet they don't actually treat anything.
If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, you may get a prescription or referral.

But people actually need actual treatment from Dentists and the government suppresses the funding so they have no choice but to run more private practices.

    Rigged system I agree.

A lot of these temp filling stuff are good but depending on what the problem is , I've used this stuff and the minute you put pressure on it it breaks , like chalk , where as the micron stuff is excellent but as it was the side of my tooth it was very hard to get into position
