    What support they ended ?

They all running on My Cloud OS 5 is this OS5 is not supported ?
    support-en.wd.com/app…130

Maybe you talking about older devices where they been on OS3 and cannot upgrade to OS5
Customers with legacy, My Cloud OS 3-compatible devices
If your device isn't compatible with My Cloud OS 5, you can only access it locally. As of April 15, 2022, your device no longer receives remote access, security updates, or technical support.

I have my self 2x My Cloud Mirror Gen2 Same as this Ultra but with only 512 Mb Ram instead of 1 GB

Do not know what other want from NAS for basic Data Storage 4 TB in Raid Mode I think it is good value Plus you can run Plex as well Maybe without decoding Video on the fly but I do not care about this as All equipment in the house can easy do full 4k HDR without need to decode

Just only one option I would like to have is Volume Encryption I think Ultra Do this because have more Ram etc...

In general you do not need to do Volume Encryption it is security option just to have - Example you NAS stolen then without Volume password no way someone can see what data is there Because everyone can reset Admin password with reset button

And other good point that My Cloud is ARM and it is shut down HDD complete and on stand by using 5-7W Where My other NAS Intel using 35W on standby as spinning 4 HDD all the time and using energy and cost me per year extra £70 just because it is design like this to work spin HDD all the time
