Anyone got one of these in a ps 4 pro?

I have the 1tb variant. It's good if the game isn't open-world and streaming a lot of data. I've experienced significant hangs in Warzone & GTA5 when they were installed to the SSD.

Would a NAS drive benefit from the MX500 over the BX500 or not?
    tomtomasz's avatar
Don't think it matters for a nas, would matter if your nas boots up from the said ssd, then mx500, for data only this is fine as any other ssd

    3x MX500 2TB's on eBay for £59 each...

**REMOVED LINK in case this is a scam**

I ordered one, hopefully it's OK... Seller has 97.8% positive Feedback

Dunno if the 5 year warranty will be valid buying off eBay tho...

Beware they maybe a dodgy seller - I found some items they were selling earlier and they are ended:
"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
Possibly a drop-shipper because people in feedback get parcels from Amazon. (edited)

Gotta be careful with eBay sellers sometimes as this doesn't seem like a registered business. Looks like a dropshipper

Great reliable drives, worth that price.

There are cheaper 2TB options but as I know these can take a hammering, I'd probably still go with the BX500 if I were buying a drive right now. (edited)

Was literally going to say exactly that.

Always worth paying that little bit extra for a well known and reliable brand.
