You can get superb sound for a lot less than this

Buy a decent amp off Ebay and then buy this to plug into it

Just no. you can’t use Bluetooth, and not even a decent Bluetooth chip at that, and superb sound quality in the same sentence.

Lots of reviews of this and only thing they all have in common is it poor sound quality

    Stand out; ''Pathetic sound quality''
I'll give this a miss then, probably dumping them if it's that bad.

Get a Wiim Pro and a decent stereo amp. I picked up a NAD 3020i for £50 from FBM recently.

I don't really understand what this is trying to be? Surely if it doesn't have any voice features built in & you need to run another echo device through it then it's just..... an amp? And by all accounts a mediocre amp at best.

    Weird, weird, product

You are correct, but it will sell well due to lack of knowledge by the majority.

Really struggling to see the point of this. How is it an Echo device when it has no voice control & requires an additional Echo to control it?

    No USB, no UPnP?

The pic of a turntable is also a bit disingenuous given there's no Phono input. So the TT would need it's own internal or external pre-amp.

It's an Echo device as it's visible in Amazon apps (Alexa/Music) so you can cast directly and the amp streams the pure 24/192 source.

Need one for each room for ceiling speakers, multi room would be so much better!

Chifi check out cheap audio man on youtube. I have a wiim puck (70) into a topping e50(200) into my legacy amp, works well and has alexa if that floats your boat. I use it with the tidal deal that was on here.
