Creative Stage 360 2.1 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos® 5.1.2 Experience

Seems to review well for such a compact soundbar, and I can confirm that it does indeed sound good considering... If you can get one without a fault (I'm currently awaiting my 3rd replacement, 2 of which suffered with audible coil whine out of the box, the other had the sub start to cut out intermittently after a year of usage - Support have been very good with a quick turnaround at least)

£149.99 (free P&P) (down from RRP £199.99)
(Next best price: £169.99 on Amazon Prime Day sales)

Potential 3.75% Quidco, 4.25% TCB

The blurb:
===== OVERVIEW =====
Fill the halls of your home with cinematic audio and real-life atmospheric simulation for an elevated home entertainment experience! Now offering the integration of Dolby Atmos®, an acclaimed surround sound technology, Creative Stage 360 sports our brand-new upgraded system drivers and a host of new connectivity options for an all-in-one home audio upgrade.

With surround sound made simple and accessible, be mesmerized and get absorbed in movies, games, and music in the comfort of your own home.

===== AUDIO =====
-- REALISTIC SURROUND --
-- SOUND YOU CAN FEEL --
Many streaming services, from Netflix, Apple TV+, HBO Max, to Prime Video, supports Dolby Atmos—but not all soundbars do.

Enjoy powerful audio that seems to come from every angle with Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 experience. With Creative Stage 360, experience realistic height, spatial elements, and simulated three-dimensional sound intensity by simply playing any supported media with Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos surround technology has the ability to deliver precise positional audio. This allows for lifelike sound portrayals, such as the intensity when a Cheyenne attack helicopter hovers over the battlefield in a war movie, or the heart-tugging moment when a wounded samurai virtuously defends himself from enemies coming from all sides.

Be on the edge of your seat with the reproduction of crisp, rich, and detailed tones with every sound played as you enjoy the thrill and excitement of action-packed scenes or cuddle up on the sofa as fear trickles down your spine while watching hair-raising horror films.

    The power saving that is built in the creative soundbars is too aggressive any silence of a second or so and it enters power saving which takes half a second to come back before it will play sounds again so watching suspenseful tv or movies it creates a very poor experience, and the energy saving is built into the firmware so you cannot disable it unless you can write your own firmware.

    Its a shame because they sound pretty good when they aren't cutting out (edited)

    Supposedly you can turn that off by holding the power button down for 10 seconds while it is already powered off. It's on the FAQ on the product page, although strangely the answer also states that it takes 24hrs to power itself off, which I know is not true

    The best anti-advertisement I have seen yet here to definitely not buy a product and avoid like Covid 19

    An unfortunate warning based on personal experience. #5 is working perfectly (yes, I had to replace it again since the above)

    I have other Creative products that have been and are great, for some reason the Stage 360 has suffered some poor quality control... Or I've just had bad luck (edited)
