It might not happen to you, you might be lucky until the one day when you're not, and when that happens you will probably lose more than a cheap bag saves you.
Look at Pacsafe bags and don't give the theives the opportunity to get their hands on what you worked hard for.
If it’s not for you then move on.
If you think you are getting a replacement after 2 years (let alone 30 years) think again. 30 year warranty is a gimmick.
That said buy them cheap enough and use them as disposal if necessary. Quality is OK, but so are cheaper rucksacks.
