It’s a partnership, D is French, also the largest sports retailer in the world.

Brands eh! I’ve got some Primark cotton ones for £1.50 each that have lasted 5 years with loads of winter use, my expensive apparently cycling ones fell to bits like yours after 2 years!! Meant to be solid given their proposed active use, my arse. Even the H&M ones I got in the sale have lasted. Yes in winter I’m a cold tattie, I feel it, experience has me feeling spending more has never worked.

My nearest Decathlon is actually in an Asda store for some reason. C+C becomes moot as reserved stock would only shift a couple of yards anyway from one counter to another. Does Walmart own Decathlon?

Thanks OP, used, saves me a drive to the store

Thanks, been after one of those backpack's

Sorry, I couldn’t find the Yawn emoji. Your point would be the case for most designers brands, it’s simply consumerism and good marketing.

It's a design from 1978. For people kidding themselves they are investing wisely in quality... these bags are mass produced in China and will have an eye watering mark up (hence the lifetime warranty). If you took the logo off and suggested an £80 price tag people would think you'd gone mad. You could easily buy a unbranded bag of the same quality for a quarter of the price. This is purely a fashion item for women aged 15 to 25. If they were so great you'd see more men and other age groups wearing them. Having said that, this is not why I voted cold. I voted cold because 30 seconds on Google turned up the same bag £10 cheaper. This is why I voted cold.

Simply not true, they have a life time warranty, water resistant, unzip all the way down, hold their shape well, available in all sorts of colours and distribute weight well, wel made, lightweight etc I’m sure primark et al do good cheap bags but they’re not going to last like a kanken. not sure what backwater place you live in but in the last 4 weeks I’ve been to Manchester liverpool and Birmingham and these are all over the place on all ages of people, and we are currently on a weeks trip to Berlin and you can’t go 5 minutes without seeing someone with one.

You cannot generalise why people purchase these bags, it’s a timeless design that has been in production since the 60’s. Some people will also choose to purchase for the design, quality or functionality of the bag. If you’ve ever been into an Urban Outfitters you will note that they are still popular in 2018 and world wide. Not everyone buys items to follow a trend, some buy items to buck the trend. They often command a high price point so it is great that the Op posted this deal as I’m sure many teens will have this on their Christmas List.

The people who buy these buy them not for the quality or their ability to function as a bag. This is a bag bought purely for the name which once upon a time many months ago was fashionable. I don't know what people have done with them since they stopped wearing them but I've gone from seeing this logo hundreds of times a day to barely seeing them. I see thousands of people a day and it's the same with every craze whether its a cheap top or coat from Primark or an expensive bag. I would have never known that these bags were expensive had it not been for this deal. I rarely find out where the popular stuff comes from unless I get dragged out shopping and actually spot it on a shelf or rack. These bags were gone before the craze for yellow rain jackets which I think started out in the rainy spring we had this year.

I bought 2 of those about a month ago, 1st ypu should know this is foldable bag and it comes "packed on it's own front pocket" as clearly said on their website, it's not too bad and actually for what you pay its ok, but it's really thin and if you loaded with some heavy things like a laptop and a book it will look like as if you packed your things in a carry bag, over all I didn't regret buying it but I won't use it regularly

It says use the code in the basket so I assume you just add to basket and then apply the xmas code to the voucher code box "GET AN EXTRA 15% OFF CHRISTMAS GIFTS* USE PROMO CODE: RXJC15 IN BASKET. ENDS 0DAYS 7HRS 14MINS *SELECTED STYLES ONLY". If it doesn't work that might be because it says selected styles only so perhaps doesn't apply to the blue one

Ordered. Great find op

How do you get the Christmas voucher please?

Dry bags normally go inside your ruck sack and are extra protection against your stuff getting wet when you're hill walking, camping, canoeing etc. They're made of lighter material and not as hardwearing as a rucksack. Dry bags can be cheap or expensive. The description says its a dry bag with straps. I've seen similar stuff before, which is for people wanting to go as light as possible with the gear they're carrying. Rucksacks can be quite heavy because of the amount of extras and padding to try and make them comfortable. This lighter stuff is to turn that thinking on it's head. I don't own one but I'd be thinking that this would be good for light stuff and should keep it dry. If you overload it or starts to get rubbed, it may start to leak. Seems good for the price but not as hardwearing as a proper rucksack. 15L quite big for a dry sack but is not very big for a rucksack.

I collected yesterday. Got the green for visibility reasons whilst out in the Lakes. My Dad has a similar bag by another brand that was over £100 - my Dad’s is blatantly better build quality, but as the bag is designed for travelling light he said he’d actually have the cheaper one given the chance again. Bargain @ £12.50 & generally I buy Haglofs/Berghaus/Mountain Equipment/Rab.

I have a Kriega US30 which cost me £100 and even that was a deal. I never even heard of this brand before. Is it waterproof or more splash proof? Anyone actually owned this for a while and tested it in the downpour?

Because it's waterproof, have you seen our weather? (lol)

Remember, it's only a deal if you needed it in the first place (lol)

I feel like in the not so distant future I will probably be wearing Xiaomi underwear with Xiaomi clothes and carrying a Xiaomi phone in my pocket as well as a Xiaomi wallet riding a Xiaomi electric scooter. All because I kept finding sweet deals on HotUkDeals.

I ordered the yellow one of these when it was posted before, cute bag, pretty small but cute :D .
