Doesn't take long. Just don't press on and use the weight of the razor handle to glide over stubble. Use good quality shaving stick / foamy stuff and jobs a good one

I got a tin of shaving cream and application brush in the kit with mine. It lasted a year but when it ran out I just continued with my usual shaving gel / foam and tbh didn't notice a difference so didn't need to go out and get any more shaving cream. I prep in the shower with a face wash and shave as soon a I'm out, any kind of shaving cream works and a new blade each shave, making use of both sides. I don't find it difficult at all, although I was a little nervous at first as folk make it sound deadly if not properly done. Personally I think you'd need to do something pretty daft to cause any issues. I know there are some who struggle, know matter what, and they know who they are. Personally, anyone who gets on with a normal shaver should at least give one of these a go. If for no other reason just to avoid the ridiculous prices of decent disposable cartridges, the better shave is simply a bonus!

Yes for the face. I use it to shave around a stubbly beard but equally to clean shave when required to for work. It's just a straight replacement to disposable cartridges.
