I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and this is a good deal at around £590.72 from Gatwick. More expensive from Manchester . The deal is from 27th April to 12th May so 14 nights. On the down side is the return flight time which means you vacating your room in the morning and storing your luggage BUT you can sometimes pay a supplement for keeping your room til around 4pm . Its 15 min walk to Icemeler and Around 40 mins on coastal path to marmaris but you can get a taxi boat (or you could ) from the jetty on the beach next to hotel which is great and fairly cheap. This price is 40% off current normal price. I posted this a couple of weeks ago and the price has had another significant drop so i have expired original post and reposted.

I went here precovid, so things may have changed, but, from personal experience
The beds are so hard, it's like sleeping on the floor.
There were a lot of typical, hard drinking, man bag wearing, loud lager lout brits there.
Which leads to, staff favoured Germans in the restaurant, and ignored English.
There isn't enough tables in the restaurant for a hotel of that size,
The swimming pool is covered by trees, so even in July, it was freezing cold.
There is no proper beach. Its man made, and has a small wall with a ladder directly into the sea. There's some sand, but it's not a gentle slope for toddlers etc.
Good points - the coffee area is amazing. Great coffee and lovely staff.
It's easy to walk into town if you want to explore a bit.
It was an OK holiday, especially for that cost, but it's not that great a place. There's definitely better. (edited)

It’s a great hotel I’ve been there 3 times and I really have nothing bad to say about it. I’ve been to both this hotel and Marmaris palace which they are next door to each other it’s like there sister hotel, but Marmaris palace is great if you’re travelling with kids. In both the food is amazing, with lots of variety to choose from. The entrainment is great, each night they have different performance and stuff to do. You literally don’t have to leave the hotel ground to enjoy your holiday. It’s close to the town centre for restaurants, puds or if you wanna go shopping for some fake designer or excursions. You can get a bus just outside the hotel. And it’s safe there you can walk around anytime you like. It’s worth it.

I’ve just come back from the Hotel Aqua (easyJet) in Icmeler and can highly recommend that particular hotel and the area in general. All inclusive is the way to go as Turkey seemed a lot more expensive than before. Taxi boat from outside my hotel to Marmaris was 100 TL one way per adult if that helps. We did that and walked the 6 miles back on the beach side promenade which is fine for prams or wheelchairs

I stayed here last year for 10 nights. We enjoyed it, several different pools, a private beach, several bars, a good coffee shop, ice cream parlour, cake shop, etc., food was fine but we ate out a few times. Only saw one lot of drunks which was two parents who’d been making the most of the cocktails and were smashed by 4pm. Staff are really friendly, beds can be hard but a mattress topper can be added if you ask for it. Lovely spa, treatments are extra but we really enjoyed ours. It’s in between Marmaris and Icemeler and a taxi rank is outside the hotel, cost about £6 to either place: Food and entertainment is much better in peak season but we stayed in October. All inclusive was worth it even if you eat out a few times especially with the amount of coffee, drinks, snacks and trips to the sandwich bar at 11pm the kids had.

Any ideas on how to find a decent holiday deal in the school summer holidays… how I truly miss the good old days of teletext

Sparky, its a bit of a difficult one to call as Holiday companies are relying on pent up demand to charge stupid prices this year however people are feeling it in their pockets with the high cost of inflation paricularly with food and energy costs. Im sure if there are any good deals spotted they will be flagged up on here. A lot of people want the reassurance of having their holidays booked in advance after not being able to get away for a couple of years and this is pushing up prices with supply and demand.
Its usually worth looking from 8 weeks before travel after people have paid their final balance to see what is available.
Perhaps look at last minute holidays on Tui, Jet2, Love Holidays and Easyjet. Im sure there are others.
