My bit:
I've had this model for nearly four years and highly recommend it as a versatile yet straightforward bean to cup machine.

In that time it's dispensed 16,000 coffee shots, and 7000 milk servings.

The hopper can take 250g of beans and there is also a separate hopper for ground coffee (useful for decaf).

Take the RRP with a pinch of salt. I paid £450 for mine.

OP, there are two different coffee machines in your images. You need to remove the second one as it’s not this model.

I replaced my Melitta (which failed after 1 month) with this model - purchased as official refurb via ebay and can definitely recommend. The default coffee amounts are a bit stingy so needs a little adjustment but so far it's been great and the internal mechanics seem fairly simple so less likely to go wrong. It's easy to clean and the water jug pulls out the front so can sit under the kitchen cabinet. So far so good

I have had this model for a year now. Love it. I wouldn't go back to instant coffee now.

Good bit of kit this, as above does the job nicely and i expect will last some time, had a faulty milk carafe, theys end a new one next day so their cs seems spot on too.

Would this be a big upgrade to a delongi Caffè corso

No, I prefer to steam my own milk hence why I stick with the corso, if you don't like doing it manually then you may see this as an upgrade, the internals are pretty much identical. (edited)

Great Machine, got a refurbished machine from Delonghi Ebay, for not much over £300, had it for over a year, easy to use and maintain.

    Does this have programmable presets?
eg. Do 2x double espresso shots into a mug and then fill the mug to a given level with hot water which ISN'T passed through the puck ie NOT over-extracted.

If it can do that with one button, I might upgrade from my Cafe Corso. (edited)
