AeroPress Go coffee maker and a 250g bag of house coffee at Pact Coffee. The AeroPress Go is the smaller, more travel-friendly version of the original AeroPress (they've also got an AeroPress + coffee bundle for £31.46). The house coffee would normally be £7.95 on a subscription, essentially making the AeroPress Go £24.26, which seems like a great price (the next cheapest I've been able to find the AeroPress Go on it's own is £32).

As per the official jargon, the AeroPress Go comes complete with:

AeroPress Go Chamber & Plunger: For brewing the most delicious coffee ever!

Mug with Lid:
Pack up your AeroPress Go into a sturdy, portable mug that you can take anywhere.

Micro-Filters:
Includes 350 replacement AeroPress micro-filters. Micro-filters remove grit from your coffee, unlike other press-type coffee makers. The filter holder makes it easy to take micro-filters with you anywhere you go.

Stirrer: Designed to be the perfect length for AeroPress Go.

Scoop:
Measures just the right amount of coffee for delicious, easy AeroPress Go recipes.

Clever dripper also on offer @ £21.66. Made my aeropress redundant for home brewing.

Thanks, I'll have to check that out, and add it to my collection of coffee brewers. I've also got to try out the Delter Coffee Press, which I've heard gives a cleaner brew to the AeroPress.

How does the Clever Dripper compare to the AeroPress then, in ease of operation and the taste of the coffee?

Am using picopresso, and played few aeropress few times in my friends home.
Depends whether you want an espresso, or a coffee.

Picopresso is well built and form size is smaller than aeropress, it could create a very high quality espresso, however, it also varies a lot if the grind size/ temp change a bit.

Aeropress seems have better tolerance on those factors when brewing a coffee.

So long time french press user here -

Do I need to give in to temptation and buy a Aeropress, or is it all just hype?!

For me it is hype. I find it will instantly start leaking hardly brewed Coffee straight into the cup. I've watched videos, tried different Coffee, tried the upside down method. It's not one for me. I am going to try the Pact Clever Dripper for £21 instead as linked above by someone else. It's a simple device but also fiddly and it doesn't give the desired result. I got it on Lightning deal I think from Amazon so didn't cost much. Not one I can recommend sorry.

Love mine for when we are away in campervan and I cant have real coffee from my bean to cup. Very compact too, just don't forget to top up the filters before you go on longer trips 😁 Been a great purchase and highly recommend it

You can buy metal reusable filters too. I have had one for years, and only ever use paper filters when the coffee I’m using has a particularly course grind

I don't know about the aeropress but as a coffee lover I'm addicted to pact coffee. Try the chocolatey ones for a rich, smooth drink but my favourite is the house blend. I know I sound like a commercial but honestly the stuff is miles above the supermarket stuff!!

worth having a browse on here, I've had a few bits from both rave and pact and these guys measure up great against them both and are very competitive on price for some of their offerings

I have an Aeropress. I do not get it at all. Everytime I fill it up it starts leeching water into the cup. Tried various methods, upside down etc. Not one for me this one, it's simple in theory but in practice it doesn't work for me.

They finally launched the flow control filter cap in the UK last week. They only had 100 units though, and it sold out after a few days. Amazon had some too but also sold out for now.

Got one of these last year and use it 5/6 days a week. I get 3 coffees out of it during the working week. (2 in flask 1 straight into the cup for the drive) and it's a great bit of kit.

That's exactly how I do it when I'm going on the road, I make a 3-cup brew and put one in a travel mug and two in a flask.

Cold cheaper to just buy some Nescafé sachets

it... actually isn't though. It's cheaper up-front maybe, but if you were to put coffee of the same quality nestlé uses into an aeropress, it'd pay for itself over time.

Or y'know - you could actually use it for good quality, fresh coffee.

Anyone who is moderately serious about enjoying coffee needs one. Basically a chemistry set. Heat.

I was thinking that looks smaller than mine then noticed its the Go version
Probably one of my most used items in the kitchen, had mine a couple of years now.
When people see me using it who don't know what they are, they think I'm some kind of mad scientist

Already have an Aeropress that I use when travelling, but this one looks more compact, and I can use the other one at work or home.

I keep my Go at home as it's marginally easier to travel with, whilst my full sized one stays in the office.
