Does it come with a UK 3pin plug please?
The photo shows it is without UK 3pin plug
If without UK 3pin plug, where do I buy one please?

Yes it does come with it. It is a spare power plug designed for laptops. The picture doesn't show it so they can use the same picture for multiple markets

Better getting something like this in my opinion amazon.co.uk/gp/…VN4

Although you cant charge something that requires 65w at the same time as another device its great for when you need to charge two devices that are ok with less. It has a tiny form factor because it uses GAN technology and it is able to charge other devices like iphones when using other cables.

I replaced my work USB-C charger just like the levono for this exact charger. It allows you to charge at full power or also charge a second device and still put enough power into the laptop to charge (albeit slower).

The GAN charger is half the size and is significantly lighter as well which I really like as it's lugged about in my backpack (edited)

I came here to make the same comment. I use this charger to power my work laptop and steam deck with no issues when travelling for work.

It's a joke that we are asked to do with so much less (plastic, etc.) when big business glue their equipment and make them non-repairable.

Basically all the chargers work the same - I can use my 330W Alienware charger to charge a Dell, which comes with 45 or 65W psu in the box. Device will only take the power it needs, not more. You only need to use the charger (before usb-c) from the same manufacturer as your laptop. With usb-c any charger should charge any usb-c device as long as both can negotiate the same power levels. Higher wattage is fine, but lower wattage psu can reduce the laptop speed. You can use this 65w Lenovo psu to charge a Dell XPS 13 (which comes with a 130w psu in the box), but the laptop will work at the reduced power levels and will take ages to charge.

‘Smart Voltage: Its PD technology automatically detects and delivers 5V/2A,9V/2A ,15V/3A or 20V/3.25A’ - as long as your device supports one of these voltage/amps combinations, you are good to go. Device and psu will negotiate the highest wattage supported on both and choose the corresponding combination (Volts x Amps = Watts). (edited)

Yes this is a PD charger and I think Pixels back to at least Pixel 3 are PD compliant so they will be friendly

You don't need a back up and worse case scenario, if you'll ever need a replacement and this may be full price, you'll find GaN 65w chargers for about £20 anyway.

A little bit cheaper via Perks at Work - I ordered two for 37.99.  Thanks OP

Really not sure why anyone would still buy a brick USB-C laptop charger like this over any of th GaN USB-C chargers on Amazon (+ a good quality USB-C cable). I've got multiple plugged around the house that I can interchangably charge my phone, laptop or tablet. They have additional USB-A sockets too, so can have other cables plugged in at the same time.

(Make sure you get one that will do at least 65w when one C device is connected - and the manufacturer isn't being cheeky and adding up the potential wattage when saying what the max is).

no, as above, glued to supply so if the cable goes you'll need another replacement or fix it yourself (some useful tips above).

Depending on your devices' comfort/compatibility with it, do consider alternatively: spending another £5-10 to get a GaN PD (and various other protocol) charger.

It's smaller and can be used to charge multiple things (and at same time). You may also need some USBC cables

Agreed I wanted a 2nd Charger for my 2021 Legion 5P 15ARH05H , using the Serial Number of the laptop and even the part of my existing charger brings up nothing. forum is bad too answers seem misleading.

is this better than a 65w small charger with different ports?
    Limmy's avatar
    Limmy
It's probably cheaper, but will have less functionality.. but it's not worse if your goal is to charge at 65W .. just different

Will this work with the legion 5 pro 16 ?
    Limmy's avatar
    Limmy
If it charges by USB C then it will work, I had a Legion 5 a year or 2 ago and that only charged using the square tipped Lenovo charger but may have changed now, I was a 2021 model

You also need to consider what the load of your laptop is

It will charge but probably not at full speed if your laptop needs a higher amount of power from the standard charger that came with it. Gaming laptops can easily hit 200W when going full tilt .. you need to check your original charger and also see if the usb C port accepts power (try a phone charger as a quick test) (edited)

Purchased, thank you. Needed a cable from a reputable company to replace a split ended one for my laptop. Random brands were coming in at over £25 with dubious reviews so this is an excellent deal.

Also, to those wondering if this will charge your phone faster. Probably, but only to the phones maximum charging capability (and very few phones can do upto 65w). It's likely a lesser charger could still max out your phones charging speed.

The latest Samsung Galaxy S23 phone can 'only' do 25w wired charging for example:
