A budget fan with a good output for the overall cost - Use code APRIL20 at the checkout / delivery is free.

I know it's not quite fan weather just yet, which is kind of why I'm posting. When it does get warm, prices will go up again. I'm all for grabbing them early if you need to, just to save some pennies down the line, or struggle getting one when you actually need it.

This is like a Meaco 1056P for those with tighter budgets. It can oscillate and has height adjustment options. Vs the Meaco features here aren't as good and it won't be as quiet or efficient. For the price difference though... The Homcom one looks like a good option.

I have the Meaco 1056P and it's really good. It's more than double this price when we see really good offers though... So totally not for everyone.

The fan does oscillate up, down and around, which you can see in the video below.

Excellent device for moving warm air around and increasing the heatload.

The skin is an efficient organ for cooling down the body because water has a high specific heat capacity. This means that it takes a relatively large amount of energy to raise the temperature of water by 1 degree. So when sweat evaporates on the surface of the skin, it takes away a significant amount of heat from the body, helping to cool it down. also blood vessels near the surface of the skin can dilate, allowing for more blood flow and heat to be released.

If you're reading this in April get one of these now because you know in two months when you absolutely need it it will cost a tenner more. Just remember last summer lying sticky in bed (behave) not nice is it.

Thanks, ordered 2. Was hoping to get a 1056p this year if it comes under £110 but seems highly unlikely

Yeah, not so sure myself now, with all the price rises. I paid £129, which is more than I wanted to spend. It's a great fan though. This being much cheaper should serve you well still and does share some of the functions, at least.

    We had that one too.
Only has auto side to side (deal one goes up and down, and both at the same time).
    Has no remote.

It's a little taller than the one in this deal.
This one also has speed variation so it's more like a natural breeze.

Still a nice fan, but may as well go for this one while the prices are so close. (edited)

We have 2 of these now and other family members have bought them since seeing ours.
Fantastic fans, do everything a certain very expensive brand does.

Had our first one over a year now and is in use every day (yep, even in winter as I sometimes need a cooldown after spending some time in the kitchen).

    Highly recommend. (edited)

Would you say they have more power/cool you down more than a traditional fan?
