Thx, but for now I'll stick with Odyssey

Personally, I really enjoyed this game overall, but I do understand the comments about it being quite repetitive.

A few things, such as raids, were (for me) a little too repetitive & eventually I lost interest in the game before completing it due to it feeling like such a grind at times.

That said, I'm certainly glad I played it & I will probably pick it back up at some point.

(I haven't really played much of the other Assassins Creed games, Black Flag is the only other one in the series that I have put a reasonable amount of time into, I really enjoyed that too).

£9.99 seems very reasonable to me.

I respect that. Games are for fun and if you're having it, fair play

This was a massive success for Ubisoft, BUT... everyone I've seen who've said they played it expressed regret at ever having played it- so awful is the game. The curse of a really bad open world Ubi game is that it may draw people in, not because it is fun or well done, but because the psychologists that Ubisoft employs are experts at 'addiction' mechanisms.

At this moment in their history, Ubisoft deserves no sales.

Ubisoft games appear to simply be collectathon platforms designed to flog cosmetic dlc.
After AC2 I tried Origins and was shocked how much the whole "game" resembled essentially a storefront.
    I don't judge and if you're having fun - that's what counts.

Bought it about 18 months ago as a pack with Odyssey and Origins. Thoroughly enjoyed all three although Valhalla takes far longer to complete and is quite repetetive.

Never buy release, wait a year or so, all patches done, all great dlc done, prices drop massively, your pc will pull like a train and you are an old school gamer 😁 (edited)

It's a lot of game for £10 but like others, I found it pretty repetitive and a grind. I completed the main story and thought about getting platinum but I can't bring myself to play it anymore. Grinding through the river raids was the final straw for me.

It's awful. Nice looking,ok,but gameplay and quests itself is terrible, I had it for free, still deleted after 20% completion (which already was too mutch for me). Would never pay for it tbh. The repetitive stuff just kills it. Go ahead and try yourself, at least 80% of buyers will regret it

It's by far the best storefront for PC, what do you have against Steam?

I’ve really enjoyed this game to be fair.  Most games have a repetitive element but the storyline and visuals make up for it.
still think my favourite AC though is AC 2 and Brotherhood. £5 - bargain!
