sorted byThe people claiming the DLC is a rip-off because it costs thousands do not understand how the platform works. The current total DLC cost for Train Sim World 3 is just over £1,500 but it's more like a library of locomotives and routes so you choose which you want and as they cover different countries round the world, most people are not going to be bothered about buying a large number of routes and locos. I'm mostly only interested in the UK locos and routes, a route is around £20 - £30 which will add one or two locos which I think is reasonable when you look how much you'll pay these days for an emote or other cosmetics in other games. There's often discounts as well plus there's no 'need' for DLC to keep playing, the DLCs are mostly separate to each other.
If your laptop isnt gaming spec (in other words it doenst have a dedicated gpu) then its not going to be an enjoyable experince tbh.
Edit - you generlly have long as you like to activate the keys - ive had some from like 2015 that i have activated recently (edited)
