Needing a discount code, a credit check as well as being hooked for 2 years and subjected to price rises throughout the contract are significantly putting me off despite the tempting headline.

Your offer is for 125GB data allowance, not the same as the OP's Unltd data deal

EE just aren't competitive anymore - 24 month SIM only contracts.... who'd have thought. Also got rid of BT mobile and plusnet mobile where you could get a cheap 30 day sim only. No wonder people are using lebara / lyca / RWG mobile

Who in their right mind goes for 24month sim only anymore?! Bearing in mind the amount of data most people use, there is such a huge mark up on sims

ID mobile does a £12 a month deal through Mobiles.co.uk at the moment, it's 125GB of data with unlimited calls and texts plus roll over data from the previous month. You also claim back £12 every 3 months in cashback too of you submit the recipts.

If you are a "sole trader" you can get Vodafone business max 3 in store for £14( Inc vat) a month unfortunately it is 36 months contract.

The cheapest is £15/£16 unlimited data. It will be effectively a bit more due to the annual price hike. But with VAT and a business contract, it seems like a good deal.

This seems to be their "no frills" basic tier with internet restricted to 25mbps. Way too low IMO.

If one buy Pay and go EE, will that qualify for Exisiting customer 20% discount? and one can add student code for additional 20%? Anyone tried this?

Ridiculous prices. If you need high data on the EE network look at RWG or 1pMobile - who can do 200GB for £20, but critically on a 30 day SIM.

2 yr SIM only deals (with 2 built in price rises) should be banned IMHO.
