    Seems pointless to build a 1200 platform at this point; as the CPUs aren’t great value. Unless like your motherboard broke and you need one.

    I have the z version and lots of problems. Asus motherboards are buggy these days.

    Supreme FX, Haha. Had one of these included with an Asus mobo 10 years or so back. Worst sound card I've ever had, including all built in audio on boards since. Had no end of issues with it.

    The sound on my z board cuts out and I end up with no sound now and again. Asus used to be in my opinion the best.
