    Been a few years since I gave up all the supplements, but isn't Creatine Ethyl Ester the better option, even if it does cost a bit more?

    From studies, monohydrate is the most tested form and still the best / recommended form. Esther converts to the waste product more readily. It was marketed as retaining less water, but seems to degrade more readily.

    Health line concludes monohydrate is the best form and ethyl Esther performs worse. Basically they recommend sticking to monohydrate. Same with Shredded Sports Science.
