These were last this price in October last year, I’ve just run out so timing is great

Description
This is our finest blend. We choose teas from our three favourite origins – Assam, Kenya and Rwanda – and buy them from the top ten tea gardens in the world to make a rich, smooth and incredibly satisfying brew.

Our family business was founded in 1886 in Harrogate, one of the nicest towns in Yorkshire (though we might be a bit biased)! We’re still family owned today and we work hard to stay true to our love of fairness, flavour and quality.

We work extremely hard to build long-lasting relationships with the people who grow our tea. We pay sustainable prices and a premium for quality, we regularly visit the farms and co-operatives we buy from and we invest in their communities and their environment to help ensure both are thriving and resilient. In short, we strongly believe in ethical trading

Ingredients
Black Tea

Directions
A proper cuppa

Pour freshly boiled water directly onto your teabag in a mug. This way the tea infuses better than adding the teabag to water.

Leave to brew for 2-3 minutes according to taste.

Remove the teabag with a spoon giving it just one gentle squeeze.

If you don't want 5 boxes, these are £2.50 per box at Asda

IMO opinion Waitrose Essential Tea bags, currently £2 for 160 bags, are far superior. You can get three strong cups out of two bags if you used a warmed pot. I always bought premier branded tea bags before the cost of living crisis and wish I switched before. I tried all own supermarket brand tea bags in my town and found Asda Red also very good. I buy them in bulk when passing Waitrose and they stay fresh for ages.

Typhoo is currently the same price per bag, x240 for £3 at Tesco, Morrisons or B&M. I’m not sure how they compare.

I found this worse than the standard Yorkshire

The normal one is by far the best tea in my opinion

Agree to the point I have no idea if anything might compare as well seeing I've not shopped around since years ago finding "the normal one" is exactly how tea ought be. 40+ a day in my home.

Is it only people from Lancashire that say this tea tastes awful?

Try Thompson's if you like Yorkshire. Tesco Finest English Breakfast not far behind. Wouldn't be surprised if it's made by one of the above two

Unfortunately they found their way into my house via the missus. I tried them a couple of times and Yorkshire tea tastes like natts pee absolutely no strength at all. As I’m a man of Lancashire they are now banned from the house!

Hell would freeze over before I ever drank that weak as dishwater tea, voted ice cold. (edited)

In stock, so not sure why expired.

5 boxes is too many for me but heat given for people who'll get through that much.

    11.88 now.

No that's the S&S 5% price, the headline price has always been £12.50 since the deal was posted.

Dispatch in 1 to 3 weeks, or get them sooner from Asda. No need to buy 5 boxes either.

Standard Yorkshire Tea (better than the Gold imo, but tastes may vary) is the same price on Amazon, but you can get it cheaper than this offer price in Aldi 24/7: 2.6p / bag vs. Amazon sale price of 3.12p/bag.

Honestly don’t know why people pay Amazon prices for groceries unless they can’t get out of the house (in which case, sure: valid reason).

Absolutely love this tea. Just had Bettys delivered that someone recommended on here and wasnt impressed just tasted very bland. I guess i like a strong tea then. Not tried normal Yorkshire tea so cant comment on that one
