sorted byI did the same and got Benecol then I got the cheaper ones my other half got me a cholesterol kit of e-bay to see if my cholesterol was going down with the cheaper ones and hay presto it was so if I was your missus I would just give it a try for 8 weeks and take the test again
No point. Inaccurate OTC tests, over treated, over interpreted. Evidence for reducing LDL for primary prevention is slim as hell anyway, drinks don't work at all. Pocket the money. Improve diet and exercise&quit smoking f you're interested in cardiovascular risk. #SoapBox
thanks
My surgery won't check our cholesterol when we ask they only do it once a year so my other half got me a kit from e-bay so I can check it myself
Unfortunately high cholesterol runs in my family, and I don't smoke, I have a healthy diet and exercise a lot.
The first check said that it was a bit high, the last cholesterol check said that my cholesterol was high in general but the good cholesterol offset it. These yogurts are the only measure I take to combat it
Far better, as someone has already pointed out, to spend your money on healthy diet and exercise and other lifestyle changes which will have longterm lasting benefits.
what kit was it?
It's called the prima home test of e-bay
It's the same if u take the tablets but u don't get the side affects with the drinks
