As per usual, Anker is selling obsolete specs at up to date or above up to date prices. USB C input only in 2023? That's mad. Pictures show 15w output, which means 3A, but description mentiones 2.4A, which means a very slow charge for your devices. Charging time ‎20 hours according to description on Amazon. This is 10 years old technology, some of my power banks same capacity, charge in 5 hours.
Apart from the brand/quality and capacity, that's nothing good about this power bank in 2023. At half this price, this should be ok for old devices or slow charge. But not at this price. (edited)

Thanks for the response, and really helpful for someone with limited knowledge of this subject. What powerbank would you recommend for around £50? mainly charging Iphone, watch, airpods and a JBL Charge 5.

    Thanks

This doesn't support power delivery or quick charge and can only charge a phone at maximum 12w

I'm abit of a tech dinosaur. Can anyone recommend a decent powerbank?

What do you want from a power bank? Capacity? Input, so it charges fast. Output to charge your devices faster? Portability so easy to carry with you daily, or a brick that gives you more charges when you go camping? Do you need it for your phone only, or do you want to charge more powerful devices? Wireless?

I'm afraid it is not that easy. You'll struggle to find all of the above in one power bank. I ticked all the above boxes, but I have lots of power banks, each with different features and capabilities.

As a general rule, I say go with a reliable brand. A few examples are Anker (but they also sell outdated devices at high prices), Aukey, Ravpower (also found under Haniz brand), Mophie, Zagg, iFrogz, Altigo, Ugreen, Tecknet, Baseus, etc.
An unknown brand would either make up specs and in reality you don't get what you pay for. An unknown brand will use rubbish cells and your battery will not hold charge, or in within a year your power bank will be dead. An unknown brand will claim high capacity and in reality you'll get less capacity. Bear in mind that all power banks will have 30-40% less capacity due to conversion rate. The rubbish ones will have even less capacity.
    Hope it helps!

It's been a while since I last saw a micro USB port... Surely these are old stock?

Anker selling old tech at 2023 prices when competition from reliable brands offer twice the specs for half the price. At least Mophie/Zagg, who's a leading brand, sold their obsolete (but expensive when they were released) devices to Scan who charged very low prices for them. Scan was selling similar specs Zagg power bank at £19, buy one get one free. Mainly because the power banks were outdated, and apart from brand and capacity, they had nothing to do with year 2020+.
