With only a few quid difference between this and the Anker one, I think I'll go with Anker.

£15 difference is not only a few quid. It is about 20% more. But if it suits you better, why not. You have to ask yourself if you don't waste money on high specs you don't use. Anker is 140w, so not many people have devices supporting this. A device will not charge faster if its specs do not allow this. Also, Anker charges itself at 140w. A charger so powerful costs a lot, so more than likely, you'll use your regular charger instead. Which means slow charge. Finally, Anker is bulky.
I guess you need to think what you'll do with the power bank in order to get good value.

What a beast! I don't spend this kind of money on power banks, but apart from PPS, this has it all. I'm not sure about the price, but I like it, so hot from me.
So far, my favourite of all powerful power banks is Baseus 100w, which has PPS for super fast charge (not SFC2.0) and is usually £65-75. (edited)

Agreed, was about to order the Anker one at £95 tomorrow but this seems to be the same just doesn’t have the screen gimmick

This one's not bad for £42 after 30% off, similar spec, one less port but has built in cable

I'm guessing there was a £10 voucher for this which has now disappeared?

    Yes, voucher is gone

Apart from the screen on the Anker they look pretty much identical to me and if there are any differences I doubt you’ll notice them in day to day but hopefully someone else who knows more about consumer power banks will comment

This mentions 145W output but in the photo displaying what each port can output it shows as 100W max on an individual port? No PPS and potentially only USB PD 3.0 instead of 3.1 then?
    Tired.Ben.Affleck's avatar
yes and max output from single port is 100w

Looks like this only charges at 65w the Anker is much faster at 140w, and this is a combined 145w output, Anker is 140 to a single device (edited)

I recently returned an Anker 737, so I might give this a try.

The Anker model goes 'to sleep' if you leave it for a while and you have to plug a USB cable in to the power bank to wake it up, so you can't just leave your cables plugged in to it.

I hope this one doesn't do the same.

    Wow, really? (edited)

Nice deal, but no PPS is a let down.
    Sanzai's avatar
Well my Galaxy Z Fold 4 doesn't 'supercharge' off it, which is probably down to the lack of PPS?

On the one hand I think it is better to avoid supercharging in terms of battery longevity, on the other it does mean I have probably paid a premium for something I won't fully use. I only need 100W charging on the odd occasion

Ah well, cheaper by a decent margin over Anker

Do this power banks last any more than 1 year? I presume the battery might be getting pretty toasted every time if charged at the max speeds.. so might not be the best value for money product.

Jd say it should last a year and a half or more if you do a full discharge and recharge every day, I believe UGREEN have 2ye warranty (?) and it should be easy enough to do as it’s Amazon
