Got a few of these. Fine as long as you treat them kindly. Any abuse and they will not thank you for it. I kicked one by accident once and after that it was only good for firewood. Very soft wood. Good for the price though imo.

I also have one. Does the job of keeping footwear off the floor but only top is tall enough for high tops or boots.

I use mine for shelving in the greenhouse and works fine after a coat of fence paint.

Got 4 about 3 months ago when there was a similar deal - but not to use for shoes but as ready made 2 tier shelves - would have cost more to buy 2 boards and fixings. Used as extra height on top of cupboard for jewelry boxes and nick nacks etc. one in store room next to kitchen to house jars and condiment bottles. still have 2 left to use imaginatively somewhere.

I used to have one of these and in the end after constant splitting slats, I just broke it up (easily) into FIREWOOD. I admit that it was useful for a while until it began to disintegrate after a fairly short while.

    One FOUR star review says:
... only reason I gave it 4 not 5 it’s not the most robust so if weren’t careful it could be damaged but still very happy based on price.

Most people allude to the flimsy weak wood being used, me included.

But for £7 (£5.60 with FURN20 code), it is "value for money".

But not as much value as the 3 times more expensive (and 5 times more useful) 5 tier pine shoe rack that is also on Argos and listed on HUKD at the moment.

Any road up, thanks to the poster for taking the time and trouble to let us know about this. (edited)

went to argos and looked at their pictures of the shoe rack. You can plainly see that the stacked one dont even fit right - looks terrible and all the comments are how fragile it is, even the good reviews. Its expensive fire wood.

Something similar in Home Bargain a few months ago, they were selling for £3.99 but don't think they sell it anymore.
