Great little set. Had mine for about 5 years. Granted, it was lost in the back of the van until last month and never used.

Great spot Chanchi! REALLY good actually, when you take in the cost of postage aswell I don’t know how they do it!
I’d buy this but I’ve got the majority of the items. Great buy!!! If you’re thinking about it you won’t get better for the money!!
    HOT!!

Ok for occasional use, the last few Bosch sets i've had the bits for drilling metal have been very poor... still it's cheap enough to not worry about any bits breaking.
I usually just buy individual bits as I need them now, there's too many things in those sets I never use. (edited)

These are not great and wont stand up to frequent use but even so for occasional home use or to have just in case this is a pretty decent deal.

Not professional use but for DIY around the house these will last unless you drill holes on the weekends for fun... Oh didn't want to make it sound like that...

    £12 in b&q.
Worth buying at this price even if you already have drill bits. The common ones will wear out and it's good to have this as a back up.

I bought this about a month ago from Amazon for £12. Decent set of drill bits, the screw drivers ends are pretty weak though but they are cheap. Heat!

Does anyone recommend a screwdriver handle to buy separately for this set of pieces? Or does it not matter?
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
    Willy_Wonka
Doesn't matter. You can buy a bigger set with the screwdriver on the deal link.

Or go for something like this Ratcheting screwdriver which is £10 but includes hex keys as a bonus & some spare bits (good reviews). Or you can buy stubby screwdrivers for £5£6 in any DIY £1 shop.

Is this any good for the B&D Reviva drill given it doesn’t do masonry, wouldn’t it be a waste to buy this ?

It has masonry bits but you really have to take your time, even with a combi drill.

Only SDS drills are quick & efficienrt.
