To everyone racing to grab a box, LGS owner here. The restock we're getting on these is huge, there was a maximum limit in place of 50 cases per store (4 UPCs per case) and that was just to the rank and file, not very special LGSs.

So if you're thinking about grabbing one to crack open, by all means, but if its to sit on as an investment, don't bother. This restock wave is about 3 times the size of the initial one. Expect to find these at RRP everywhere and online stores closer to £100-£110 for the next few months. (edited)

Just curious- people buying these packs due to possibly getting a rare card which is exclusive to this collection? Or are all card contents the same?

There are some exclusive cards which come in this pack, Charizard is popular so anything with him on it is ususally premium. The rest is just gambling on whether the packs inside have anything good, or some people keep sealed and stored away

Buy to enjoy, not to put away and increase in value. Pokemon Centre have been pringing ALOT of these. The promo cards aren't particularly valuable.

The promos never are, I have promos from the first tins released that aren’t worth anything. But yeah, never have collected for that reason and hate the hype around cards these days and it’s prevented me collecting the full sets without spending an insane amount of money.

Much stacking going on with people just buying Pokémon tech stuff to hold, it’ll probably actually be worth less in a few years. The amount of cards printed in the last few years is incredible.
