    I actually quite like the look of salt lamps but I worry if I buy one anyone that comes into my house will think I buy into all the pseudoscience associated with them.

    Me too! I did geology at Uni and have an interest in rocks and minerals, but I hate buying them or having them about because of people thinking I believe in the "energy" or give money to the companies who sell them for that reason (edited)
