Possibly apologies for a stupid question, but are these just basically screwdriver heads under a different name? All this talk of flextorq impact is confusing me, genuine question. I have a bosch electric screwdriver and the small bits you generally get with it can be a pain to use, and these Pz bits are always needed. Are they just considered to be stronger than 'other' bits?

Those are for impact drivers, there needs to be some flex in the shaft in order to dissipate the hits or it may destroy the screw. If you got an electric screwdriver you don't need one.

IMHO better than using 25mm bits in a bit holder and having to retrieve the bit from the screw everytime you drive a screw in.

25mm bits are cheaper. And you get bit holders that keep hold of them.

I like these. I use them with a Makita magnetic collar in my impact and that makes it very difficult for the screw to drop off. If I know I'm going to be using one type of screw head (and not needing to swap bits) one of these is what lives in my impact driver.

I bought some of these last time, I like them but they didn’t last long. More like diy bits.

Great deal ! Almost worth it for the 2 PZ1 and 2 PZ3 bits which are hard to find in this length .

Handy bit of kit, bought one to hang off my non-inpact Hitachi. Sits in the belt loop just right

These just seem to go up and up in price! I bought the same thing for £3.50 last year

Could you use these on a drill when screwing wood?

    No. The heads crumble

The bits aren't great and pretty useless in an impact driver but the holder itself is really handy.
