The verification of the student status is not done through studentbeans.
    This deal should be removed.

Why are these "deals" being posted? This is a standard promotion that's being going on for many years in its current form on Amazon directly. No need for affiliate links. I swear the next deal will be someone posting "I found this website called quidco which gives cashback!!"

I did this on my prime account via my brothers student email, we share prime, I dropped Amazon a message saying we weren’t genuinely aware of prime student and had been prime members for years, they gave me a £50 voucher.
    Worth doing the same

It’s never been 6 months free prime for students.
We’ve never had just the student price 4.50£..

Nope. I had 6 months free prime then was put on student plan. Still on it now. I sent them my totum ID as proof but I'm not sure if that works now.

Sadly, they don’t allow you to use it if you’ve already had a student account with them. They ask for documentation to be sent in. Was worth a try

Doesn't this have nothing to do with StudentBeans? This is a standard Amazon offer which you do via Amazon? Seems like companies are trying to put their names to it to make it look like it is 'their' great offer when all they're doing is redirecting.

So it seems like you still have to enter your student email on amazon, right? I have studentbeans thanks to my university outside UK, but can't use Amazon prime student as I don't have a .ac.uk email address.

Any idea why this is on here? Amazon prime has been free for 6 months for students for as long as I can remember.

i'm totally confused by these deals: this one and Unidays: whats the diff using those vs signing up direct with student ID anyone please?
    jakehume's avatar
    jakehume
Nothing, to what I'm aware they only direct you to do it through amazon regardless. Only a student email of any kind should be required

    You can't.

Amazon are quite strict on it, after four years thats it you can't get student price.
