The Case:The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba H82365141 case measures at 40mm in diameter, allowing it to fit perfectly on a range of wrists. The brushed stainless steel finish of the lugs contrasts with the polished finish of the knurled edges of the bezel. Likewise, the bushed finish of the crown guards accentuates the polished finish of the embossed crown. Significantly, the uni directional bezel has a bi-colour design, with 0-15 being animated by a splash of vibrant orange. In addition, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass sits a top of the case, providing the watch with unparalleled levels of scratch resistance.

The Dial:The blue dial of this timepiece delves into the watch’s militaristic background, as it utilises a 24 hour time scale that sits inside the indices. The large white Super-LumiNova indices allow for easy reading as they stand out against the blue background of the dial. Similarly, the silver stainless steel sword hands are also luminescent, augmenting greater levels of legibility. Moreover, a date window between the 4 and 5 o’clock mark is simplistic addition to the dial that hones in on the watch’s utilitarian purpose. The dial is brought to life through dashes of orange provided by the seconds hand. The Hamilton logo is beneath the 12 o’clock, proudly displaying the creators of this fine timepiece.

The Bracelet:The bracelet is a real quality feature of this timepiece. It consists of a bold 3 piece silver steel brushed bracelet. Adding a touch of class and sophistication to the piece. It gives the watch a complete look. It also boats a push-button deployment clasp, with their full logo on the clasp of the brand.

The Functions:The Khaki Navy Scuba also features Hamilton’s H-10 produced movement. This mechanism is made by the Swatch company, where it is laser regulated. It is one of the most attractive features of this watch, as it offers an astounding 80 power reserve. Comparatively, a standard mechanical watch will hold time for around 40 hours. It operates at a rate of 21,600 v/p/h which is why the watch is able to boats such impressive power reserves, because it is easier on the gears. It consists of 25 jewels and you can expect to loose or gain around 7 seconds a day. The wearer is able to view the inner mechanisms, such as the ‘Hamilton’ embossed bi-directional winding rotor, through the open back case. It is water resistant up to 100 metres making it suitable for snorkelling.

Worth saying this watch is weirdly not a proper diver, the other scuba are 300m water resistance and this one is strangely only 100m.

Is the 300m a bigger case? I saw one that was 300m but didn't get it as it was too big. 40mm is perfect for me but I need 200m at least.

    Cracking watch.

Just picked up a (used v.good) CW Super-compressor for touch less, otherwise I'd be tempted!

I had this in the black with orange bezel qc wasn't great very ordinary on the wrist I sold it on in the end shame as it was not a patch on my other Hamilton pilot pioneer

This would be on its way to me as £500 odd quid for a Swiss made, automatic movement, with its specs, Hamilton etc I think is a bit of a steal…
My only problem is only bought yet another watch last week to add to the 15+ I already own and don’t have enough arms/days of the week

I have the black and orange version of this and the newer 43mm 300m version. The 40mm is really comfy, but the metal bezel is nowhere near as nice as the ceramic found on the updated 300mm version. I paid the same sort of money 6 months ago for the 300m version, and although 43mm isn't for everyone, the watch looks much more premium. Only thing I struggle with is the lack of date on it, which I didn't realise how much I used.
