Saw the IKEA one posted , and realised would cost me £2.50 or more in Petrol to get to my nearest IKEA ....but Tesco are every where problem solved .

Don't waste your money. I just smash the jar on the floor, pick out the glass, use a dustpan and brush to scoop up the remnants and pop it in the saucepan. It also adds a splash of colour to your kitchen.

I just stab the lid with something sharp. Usually the corkscrew. You only need to release the vacuum and the lids loosen straight off.

That’s fine if you’re going to us all the contents at once, but..

They are useless. I puncture the lid with a pointed tin opener to release the vacuum, works every time....
