I have an Xbox Series X that was £450 nearly 2 years ago and that's plenty good enough. Free controller and HDMI lead and tons of apps on it. Only thing you'll ever need. Massive cheap back catalogue. Or month games pass. I think a 2 year old NBA was a fiver and Mortal Kombat was 12 quid on disc.

You are better off with a cheap laptop if you need something portable. You sometimes end up with the shower gel leaking in your travel bag. That could be expensive.

For the average user Gaming laptops below the £700 mark is the most you should pay. Just to easy to damage them, easy for them to get stolen cost a small fortune to repair and have a limited live.

    Just had a look on

    I really like this quote

Those AMD Dragon CPU's will offer more performance and lower power consumption / reduced heat. then what intel's HX CPU's will and hopefully they will be lower cost also.

((Pricing looks really good considering we are talking about literally the newest hardware available. The RTX 4060-based (full 140W TGP) system with 12-core Ryzen 7845HX retails at 7499 RMB, which is just $1084, and that’s including Chinese sales tax. Furthermore, gamers can upgrade to 16-core 7945HX CPU for just 500 RMB more or choose RTX 4070 and 16-core CPU for 8999 RMB (1300 USD).

Pricing is no doubt much better than what we saw two months ago at the AMD Dragon Range’s debut in the US. Back then, the cheapest RTX 4060 system was available at $1799.))
